Now we also expect your participation in the unannounced yet upcoming 2003 WGA Geopicnic.

And before the next WGA picnic, keep an eye out for the WGA campout, which we expect will happen once again in the spring.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. My family happend to “stumble” onto the sport while talking with some friends… Lucky I guess.

Being a hunter, I always wanted to get a gps. This finally gave me a good enough reason. I can’t think of a better way to get us and our kids (5yrs. & 2yrs.) out and about. Much better than sittin in front of the “tube”…. I think our 5yr. old is as hooked as I am.

    Thanks again for the welcomes!!

    See you on the trail….

[Then, hilite one of the waypoints and “pull” it to the first window. Hilite a different waypoint and also drg it to the first window. Do this for each waypoint and window. When done, all of the way points will have been dragged into the first window. You can now upload all points from the first window.[/B][/QUOTE]

Sounds like a winner to me!! That’s kind of what I was thinking I’d have to do…. It’ll work!

So let’s say I’d like to save some waypoints for hunter walking trails around eagle river… I would save those waypoints/routes/tracks/ in something like “eagle.loc” on my hard drive… Then, whenever I’m going up there hunting all I’d have to do is download that eagle.loc file to my gps… when I’m done hunting I would take that file “off” and possibly put on waukesha county trails.loc (shorter filename. you get the idea) Is this correct?

BTW hi way up there in Slinger from Sussex!

    1. Open the version of EasyGPS you have, then use the “File” menu to browse for and open the file from within EasyGPS.
    2. Download EasyGPS from the geoaching.com web site and use that version instead of the one you downloaded from EasyGPS.com.
    Hope this helps.

Hey, I got it working… Now the only problem is that everytime I “download” a cache/waypoint it opens a new easygps I.E. downloading 3 separate cache/waypoints makes 3 instances of easygps running in separate windows… I could figure out a way to deal with this though…
