Green jeep arrived today in the mailbox….keep your hopes up…they will come!
Have any jeeps been placed in caches as of yet? If anyone needs a jeep delivered to Door County we will be heading that way in the next few weeks.
I sent my request in right away and haven’t seen one. When can they be placed in caches? Looks like I will have to get one the old fashion way.
DCexplorer – We are in Door County quite a bit. My future in-laws own a place in Sturgeon Bay. Our next trip will be in early Sept for 4 days. During this time we are bringing my parents for their first time in 15+ years.
What I’m looking for is really anything that is worth seeing. I have done a number of caches but it’s typically only to get in and get out of the cache.
I know we did one cache up by the tip in a small park by Gills Rock. It was in a park that was way back in the woods and you would have never known it was there.
So far on my list is:
1) to see all of the lighthouses by land, water and air.
2) Cave Point. We were there once but it was cold and raining so we didn’t stay long.
3) Washington Island. I have never been there.You are correct that geocaching takes you to a lot of places. I’m don’t need to geocache these places. We don’t own a kayak but do have a 19ft boat. The places I am looking for can be driven to, hiked to, or I’m up for a challenge hike.

I would tend to agree that you don’t see any. I was able to find two the weekend that they were launched. After that weekend they have seemed to disappear. Hopefully they will show up and not become someones personal collecter item.
I agree with the fact that WI should develop a coin. I’m going to go down the other road and design Team Golden’s own coin.

Yes it is unfortunate that this cache has become a travel bug prison. I have to question if there is a marsh standing between the cache and parking area why is the difficulty only a 2 1/2? Also it’s funny how there is no mention of this in the description.
Thanks but I am looking to buy local or from a fellow cacher. I don’t place much trust in e-bay.
