You could also wind up on the keychain of a teenager.

Imagine him being on a date at the site of one of Giz’s Dead Ends.

I was down there a few weeks ago but I decided not to try it alone. (something about being airlifted in the posts)If I can find the time when you go I’d be interested.

Good job Marc, That give us all a gaol to reach. Think I can get there in a year?

in reply to: Just another GSAK Question #1741331

Cool, thanks I will have to work on it. But I have no logs to log. Hmmmm Time to go caching.

Is there a place that these links can be placed so they are at the ready when we are heading in that direction?

in reply to: I’ve got a palm, Now What? #1741277

Got out with the palm today and did a bit of caching. Darn that makes life easier. Why did I wait this long? Now if I had wireless capability I could just get my PQ right into it. Well one thing at a time.

    Have Palm Will Cache.

Thanks for your help. I have cachemate now and did get it figured out. Thanks for the trial and error tip, Marc. Anyway I’ll be set up for paperless by the end of the month. Of course I will try earlier that that.
With that being said, “I will be coming to a hidden piece of tupperware near you”

I understand that tripping and falling are part of the game. I take each cache for what they are an pick which ones I do myself. My excitement following the event came from the fact that my daughter was able to keep up all day. Considering 3 years ago when she was diagnosed, our Dr. stated most with this condition choose to amputate.

We were very fortunate to have some of the best care available(UW Childrens). Now we have the job of showing her that this is not a crutch and something to be dealt with. We as a family walked over 4 1/2 miles that day and she did half of it herself. I do take every precaution with her but also teach her to strive for the best. She has shown me that she can and will do that. That was the reason for my graditude toward the event.

Good job Honeybunnies, did you ever calculate how much you paid for all the gas to get to those?

Ya who needs a GPS to find McDonalds. The kids have a nose for a happymeal.

in reply to: Model Geocache #1741803

I have just visited the Cache Site linked above. I saw this on a fishing show once and always wondered where it was. Now the cache is archived. Are there anymore in this area yet?

    in reply to: Waymarking #1761558

I think Waymarking would be good for vacations but it just seems hard to navigate the site for the area that one would be interested in. But that must be because it is quite new and the best way has not yet been figured out.

Well I have just started as well. OK a bitlonger than you but I still feel as though I just started. I have pulled my family out on cold days so I could find a film canister, just to look at them and say “ain’t this great”. Now that the weather is starting to get better they are a bit more excited to get out.
