Hey, alright! Looks like a fun time was had by all. Winter just means better satellite reception 😉 .

Congratulations! We followed in your footsteps on a couple yesterday. See you at the campout?

Woo hoo! I knew you guys would make it 8) . We’re glad we could share in some of those caches. You picked a great cache for the milestone too, one of my favorites in that series.

Before GPS receivers there were maps.

Before that, there were (and still are) eyes and brains.

What do you do with those? I don’t get it 😉 .

I agree w/Lostby7. Not sure I want to hear beer-guzzlin’ drunks all night and neither will parents of younger children.

Just some good, clean forum fun spilling in from off-topic 😉 . We haven’t had problem campers in the past to my knowledge, and I don’t foresee it in the future. There will most likely be some consumption of adult beverages, even by the emotionally under-age like myself 😆 .

Congratulations on the big milestone! 1K was really big deal for us, and great feeling for a long time.

Congratulations! Earthcaches are always fun to milestone on. I looked back and our 4,000 was an EC as well, Greenbush Kettle. Keep on having fun, spring’s around the corner.

Congratulations Karl, it’s been big fun sharing probably a couple hundred of those with you.

Heh, heh. And more than welcome under the big tent too. Sorry I didn’t hardly get a chance to talk to you at either event Archer. Our son Noah was particularly in need of entertainment at the Rochester event, and when I wasn’t giving him piggyback rides we were eating or having a nice chat with the mom half of Nudlez.

I am elated and incredibly humbled by the thought that so many people chose to vote for me. I hope that I am able to meet and exceed your expectations.

I want to extend a thank you to our candidates who weren’t elected. If the bottom five vote getters had been elected rather than the top five we still would have an incredibly strong B.O.D. I think our organization has an embarrassment of riches in the quality of its volunteers.

Nancy – You are the only one of the candidates that I have not been lucky enough to meet. You’ve definitely given to the community in your caches; we had a great day the other weekend chasing caches north of Milwaukee and it seemed like 2/3rds were yours. I also love all the little country plots you’ve placed caches in down in the SW part of the state.

Pete – It’s been great to meet you the couple times our paths have crossed, and you’ve been a stalwart of the LCG. Wild Rose is definitely a place on the map for a nice day of caching thanks to your efforts.

Dave – As happily surprised as I was that I was elected, I was equally shocked that you were not. You’ve been a solid half of our state approving team, the mastermind behind our Lonely Cache Game, and in our most contentious issues aired on the forums you have been both fair-minded and accurate in your observations.

Thank you again to all who voted. For all the time we spend criss-crossing the state it’s sometimes surprising how many of you we haven’t met. I’m hoping that will change as we make a greater effort to attend more of the events scattered around the state. And you’ll of course see us on the trails as well.

Congrats Gary, seems like forever since we’ve crossed paths. We’ll have to rectify that.

Congrats big guy! Who would have thought we would be neck and neck for over two years and several thousand finds? Time to start picking that big milestone cache…

in reply to: 9K for Team Honeybunnies #1901523

Thanks for all the love folks! Hope everyone else was able to enjoy the weekend and its amazing weather. I haven’t felt hot on the trails in weeks.

Glad you enjoyed your first event! 8) We too had a great time meeting our cross-border neighbors and taking in a perfect winter day on the trail. There may have been more WGA members there than Minnesotans. Hopefully we’ll catch you again soon.
