Another formidable team from the Valley we have yet to meet. One of these days our paths will cross, hopefully before 2,000. Congratulations!
Alright Fu! Keep ’em coming!
I’d agree with the idea of a bit more flash on a new coin. Production values have really continued to improve and some really attractive coins are being made. If we come up with an ambitious idea, most of the coin firms have in-house designers who could help us polish things up a bit. Another Compass Rose would be a feat. The Campout coin was a nice one, and with some fills and such, we could have a stunner.
I like the idea of a micro, but maybe both could be done? Our neighbors in Michigan have done coins seasonally, so why not both in ’07?
I don’t think limiting the run is a bad thing. If we produce another really nice coin in smaller numbers, I’d be buying several, many with the intent to trade and a couple to travel. If we produce as many as people are looking for, I’ll only buy a couple.
We’ll see a lot of different philosophies on this. Should be interesting.
We’ll be in West Salem at 10:30. Or we can start even earlier depending on others. Look forward to meeting you guys again.
Even more thanks 😀 . There’s a small body of people who’ve given a lot to our game. Without you we wouldn’t be out there every weekend in the valleys and the dales, the swamps and the woods seeking our esoteric version of treasure.
French Creek: Kelly’s Island just north of Portage now boasts one as well.
Congrats! Seems like we’ve been everywhere, but so many pages…
Add kudos from the Honeybunnies to the list. Couldn’t happen to nicer people.
We’ve been considering getting back down to LaCrosse lately… Need two more pairs of eyes?
We dropped one in the Door County Challenge this weekend, so another one is floating in Wisconsin. Got picked up by a newbie the next day before I could even get home to log and they grabbed it away. All those precious miles… 😥 . One more to drop off.
On our honeymoon we stumbled upon two in Delaware. They’ll be finding nice Central Wisconsin homes in the next couple weeks. Come get your DeLorme pages!
Have to agree with Jeremy. I keep an oldest caches query on idle, pulling everything before the end of ’01. I keep putting it to the back burner, but have had intentions of doin all of the oldest.
Geez… So you had to go skulking around while we were on our honeymoon, eh? 😆 And passing people up in the standings while they’re getting married isn’t quite cricket either, old chap. But, we got an APE cache and we got to see where Stonewall Jackson’s arm is buried, so neener, neener, neener 8) .
Seriously though, a fantastic accomplishment my friend, with true dedication. Our drive pales in comparison to yours. Be cool!
Confusing I’s and 1’s and O’s and 0’s can happen all the time too. Try that 8) .
Somebody’s an airline worker…
The airlines use standardized codes for every airport. You’ll see them on your baggage tags. Lessee here… MSP is Minneapolis, DTW is Detroit, I think ORF is Orlando, and CWA is Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee. My mother worked for Northwest Airlines for 44 years before retiring, so I picked up a bit here and there. Not sure on the CRJ though…
