Just a suggestion but I would make the page for something like the Manitowoc Area not just the county that way more people will feel welcomed to the group that may not reside in the county. Maybe I am reading to much into it.

I am part of three groups: WGA, Chippewa Valley Geocachers, and U.N.G.A. Up North Geocaching Association(for those whom cache north of 64)

Oh yeah and twice I went to the main office to see if there is anything in the park that is not on a map like an old building foundation of some historic site and it has been closed both times. When I go if they are closed again I am just going to find a good place somewhere on the east side of the park. I already have about 20 or more caches on the west side.

I have not forgotten about Brunet State Forest. We just got our first addition to Team Northwoods and now that she is home with us a cache I will be placing. I may work 3 miles from there but it seems I can’t be there. With the time off I had to take a work backed up it will be placed soon maybe even tomorrow. A couple caches and a GPS are sitting in my vehicle just waiting for me. As I write this I am sitting in eau Claire and tomorrow in Winter. All around but not in Cornell. Never thought it would be this hard to place a cache next to a place I go through 5 times a week.

    Thank you for your patience.

I made it through all 31 days of August but only found caches on 12 different days. Still 0.387 batting average is pretty good.

    Your logic is undeniable. 😆

I made it through all 31 days! Don’t think I will do that again for a while! Hey, wasn’t there a bonus souvenir for those that logged all 31 days?

    I know, right.

http://project-gc.com has better county maps. I just started using them and realize I missed Pepin county. I thought I hit it when looking at the GSAK map. Check it out under maps than click on the state and it will display a very easy to read county map. http://project-gc.com/generate_map.php?profile_id=836453&area=country&country=United%20States&region=Wisconsin&level=county

http://coord.info/GC2ENJQ Was our first hide in a series. We placed several caches on the way out to lead geocachers through the brush and Grundy Canyon to the water fall. We put on a total of 8 miles on zigzagging around looking for spots with nothing more than a backpack full of caches and ammo cans and one little bottle of water. Ever since then you will find us with a lot more water and a lot more snacks. At one point I thought we might not make it out from from lack of energy with no food and an empty little bottle of water. It was fun…

And please do try to get some WSQ caches placed. Those are my favorite type of cache to go hunting for. 🙂

    We really like them too.

Just hit the JCF series on 3/17/12 with Comkelp, Wis Wild Weasel and SBC Crew. With the heat it was a bit much but we got it done. Nice series through varied terrain, difficulty and woodlands.

We found one of your caches on Saturday and enjoyed the quick find on a long day. The nice thing about caching is the variety to choose what kind of caching you feel like doing from day to day.

If you quit they win. Let the smillies you get drown their noise out.
