It would be best to walk backwards in these areas. Unless you don’t want to see what coming.

I added a challenge for the WGA Picnic at Brunet Island State Park. It is meant more to mock the challenge caches but enjoy it nonetheless.

I just thought of a good challenge… I will create it soon.

I just accepted one where I only have to take a picture of myself or my team while hiking. I am working on a challenge but I need to get the coordinates first. I am going to attempt to try this but if I make a challenge it will have a location or specific landmark.

    I guess this makes it a virtual….

Good article. Looks like you put a lot of time into the caches. Good Job. 🙂

I have a disqualification. Any cacher that hides a micro or smaller and doesn’t leave a hint.

in reply to: proof of public land #1950440

From past experiences hunting and fishing. Sometimes “no trespassing signs” are put in place by landowners to detour access to public land same as in some areas where public land signs are in place and then magically disappear.

in reply to: Interesting artcile on LightSquared vs GPS #1950504

I have been reading articles on lightsquared for a while now, due to my profession, and I don’t think this satellite will ever get going which is good for my side of the business. When I read about this I had to chuckle a little inside. It has been fighting to get going for a long time to no avail.

What is the plan for getting us organized to organize the picnic?

Just found out you are looking for help. I can be of assistance. I live by Lostboys5 but I work right here in Cornell.

I resubmitted my archive log. Hopefully they will catch it and it can be replaced (most likely right after the day it is archived).

If there is a cache that someone is not taking care of and apparently don’t care, is there anything you can do?

I am moving this question to a new post.

in reply to: Another what would you do question….. #1947914

I would have to post that as a find. If I worked really hard to find a cache and it was laying strewn across the ground I would do my best to put it back together. Log what you did online under found. I have been to caches were the log is so wet you can’t write on it. If you find the container after a mile hike up here in the northwoods you found it but you must at least find the container. You should not have to come back just because a bear or little critter ate holes in a cache.
