Hello all, The Searchers let me know about this topic on the forum. I was the one who set up the initial store on Cafepress. As several of you have said there was not profit made on anything for sale in the old store. All of the prices listed are the base price for the merchandise plus printing. These prices are set by Cafepress. When the original store was set up it was discussed by myself and some of the other original members whether or not we should be making a profit and it was decided at the time that we would not. If we would like to have the shop updated with the new logo I would be willing to help. I can provide an email address to get the new logo and will go through and revamp everything. However, if it is decided that a profit should be made on this merchandise a new store will need to be started. The current one is under my user account and is one of many that I have so I would not be able to just turn it over to the next operator. I will keep my eye on this posting to see what the outcome is or you can send me an email at [email protected].

Count us in for two adults and two kids

To all of the cachers who will be in the area on Saturday:
There is word that black unmarked SUV’s and helicopters have been crisscrossing the countryside near your location. I think it might have something to do with Case Number – 0017034.

One more vote for Hartman’s Creek!

in reply to: Nevada Geocaching #1745255

You are correct the terrain is certainly different for caching here in Nevada. Unlike Wisconsin where it is often a good bet that the cache hides under some type of tree branch, you can almost bet the cache in Nevada is hidden under some rocks! I am still waiting for a visit from some of my Wisconsin geocaching friends here in Las Vegas. Chris (previously 1/2 of Team Rusch, now my username is Damonbaxter).

Looks good, I never guessed a simple thought would gather so much momentum. I vote for #3 of Cache Cow’s latest.

in reply to: Cache of the Month #1745166

My vote would be for number three. I also think that the month and year look nicer as part of the graphic. Due to turning the graphic, you may want to flip the month and year over.

I think you should definitely bring your gps.
We could hunt a few caches together. It might be a good diversion from the Strip for part or all of one day. Also there are several virtual caches on the strip, and even real caches.

That would be a nice product, however a fanny pack is not one of the choices that I have we have to sell.

If anyone has any shirt or product ideas please let me know. I would like to get something into the store that would interest you. Thanks!

Also, if a logo has been designed for the upcoming campout I could put that onto t-shirts, etc. These could be personalized too, if there is an interest.

They originally had two different types of ornaments for sale. They were pulled from the stores very quickly when they started to run out of stock. They said that they would not be getting more due to the west coast dock strike. There is a holiday bear that is in the store now, and I could add a stocking if anyone would want me to.

I would love to help put this together with you. After all I have experience in creating a cache that has stumped most people. (You Can’t Be Serious!, and yes I know that it is temporarily archived due to the fact that the first clue has gone missing) Count me in!

Here is another cache that is near a waterfall. This is one that my brother hid it is called . Legend of Fonferek Falls

You may also want to try the cache. From the logs it sounds like you should leave yourself plenty of time for this enjoyable hunt.

I agree with the others who said that we should talk about it at the picnic. Maybe during lunch we could have people at least give their ideas. I think that most people would be happy to take some time out from caching in order to help maintain the sport.

I don’t know if we should be angry, or happy for the concern. At least someone is thinking of us!
