Hogrod thanks for the tips. My batteries do sometimes sit for a week after being charged before I use them. And yes my charger has a cover. As for my charger it is an Energizer charger (not the cheap one). I went out today and lost 3/4 battery life in about 2 hours. I will try charging the night before and see if it helps.
A social event is a good idea but you take away the temps and the kids have no fun. The main reason we went was for the kids. I understand many of you have no kids but there was alot of them at the picnic. Why not just have both? It seemed to work fine in my view.
If I visit a cache, a 2nd time around for the sole purpose of a coin, I will always leave a different coin in it’s place. That way if someone else was hoping to get a coin, they still do.
Its good to see Im not the only one that has this same thought. About every other coin that pops up around me seems to disappear. 😥 As for that screwcoin lonesomedove, I live within 5 minutes walking distance of that cache, it was gone real quick.
