Hey musthavemuzk will be down in C.R. on thursday this week!!! Will be caching in the Marion, Beaver Park, Squaw creek area… We have family all over that area…Easter Bunny visit!!!
Hope to see you out on the trail! Look for the big man in a kilt LOL
SNOW!!!! SNOW!!!!! we ain’t stopped by no stinking snow!!!!!
The cacher in question e mailed me and said” My daughters signed the log”. NOTE: I checked the logs there is no date, no team name and a bunch of unreadable scribbles ( so is that the signed part? …does that stand…)
There is also a cache off the beaten path that this team shows as “logged by Trimble” and there is nothing in the physical log( so the kids say they found it, and mom and dad log it as a find?). Ok, maybe I’m being a knob about this, but I feel that by allowing this it sets a bad example.
What’s to stop me from driving down the interstate to my in-laws in Iowa and logging every cache my Trimble goes by(it would be a very, very large number)… other than my own honesty.Follow -up-
Checked the physical log sheet on a few caches, they are up to date…
with the exception of the drive-by cacher. So as reviewer noted, the logs will be deleted, b4 i do this i will check all of my caches they logged as found.THANKS BE !!!!
TO: Wis-Kid and those at GroundSpeak for the transfer of “Lord of the Caches”THANKYOU Thank You THANK YOU!!!! 😉 😀 😆
Well I’d hate to let the original be archived, due to the historical relevence of the cache. So I guess it will remain as it is then… I’ll keep tending to it.
Same thing happened in Cedarburg Wi. FYI.
In this case a “off-duty” detective spotted what he thought may have been a bomb and turned out to be a cache. Personally I think this guy is bucking for a chiefs slot as the cache is not visible from the bike trail as he claimed. He knew it was there…needed his 15 minutes of face time I guess.Bomb squd came in and … well you know how this plays out.
SOLD for a crisp 20.00 bill !!!!! Thanks for the interest!!!
😛 😆 😀 🙂 😯I thought the same thing…paper… reliable… but since my best friend turned me on to paperless. I was like WOW and im tecnology/electronically challenged LOL. It makes thing allot more streamlined… now I have the cables for the GPSr no more typing in by hand!!
Now I just gotta stop being cheap and pay for the full versions of everything LOLStill have everything for sale… if it doesnt go its going in a cahce or going to good will
Still have the cradle? I have a Palm 3 for sale …That a seriel cradle would be nice to add… I have a ethernet cradle
Someone else in the “for sale” section had or has a cradle for sale…
they also make a RJ45(ethernet) to seriel port adapter I have seen on E bay for a few bucks
Yup read that first…
Would be a Non-consentual I guess2 caches in question:
