Wow! Thats a big container!! Maybe your freezer travel bug will fit in there!
You know you are addicted when after spending 14+ hours Geocaching on Saturday, you wake up Sunday morning wondering if you can convince the kids to go out caching again today!
And when Ms. Lotsacache would have joined Ms. WISearcher in that cold water search if the little Lotsacachers weren’t there. (Can’t give the little Lotsacachers any ideas!)

I had a pair of Columbias a few years back. They were the WORST boot I have ever owned. I would stay away from them.
I now own, and love, a pair of Merrell Reflex boots. The don’t sell the this boot anymore but I know a bunch of people that like the Merrell line.
As ‘tie’ stated earlier, I would recommend going to REI on capitol and trying a bunch on. It’s the only place I purchase outdoor wear anymore.
Any chance of using RSS on this site?
you know you are addicted to geocaching when…
1. Your entire family owns headlamps so you can cache into the night.
2. New caches in your area cause a mad dash for the truck in an attempt to be FTF.
3. 20 caches on a Saturday seems pretty much routine.
4. You have a ‘special’ area in the house dedicated to caching. This area contains the caching backpack, GPS, PDA, batteries, maps, happy meal toys, travel bugs, ammo cans, etc.
Way to go guys!!! (You’re putting us to shame) We are looking forward to caching with you soon!
(clap,clap,clap,cheer,whistle) Very nice! Congrats!! Can’t wait to talk to you about it on Saturday!!
WOOOHOOO!!! Way to go ShortStack and Stretch!!!! We’re flattered that you chose A King’s Ransom for you 400th!!! It’s evident that you’ve done a few since finding 35mm film canisters in the dark is not the easiest thing in the world. See ya soon!
Nice job Jeff!!!
I do it the same way as wzbt03. Works great!
Very nice job!!! Hope to see you on the trails as the weather warms up!
Something like this:
function sendToHost($proxy, $host,$method,$path,$data,$useragent=0)
{
// Supply a default method of GET if the one passed was empty
if (empty($method)) {
$method = ‘GET’;
}
$method = strtoupper($method);
$fp = fsockopen($proxy, 8080);
if ($method == ‘GET’) {
$path .= ‘?’ . $data;
}
fputs($fp, “$method http://$host/$path HTTP/1.0rn”);
fputs($fp, “Host: $hostrn”);
if ($useragent) {
fputs($fp, “User-Agent: MSIErn”);
}
if ($method == ‘POST’) {
fputs($fp,”Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencodedrn”);
fputs($fp, “Content-length: ” . strlen($data) . “rn”);
}
fputs($fp, “Connection: closernrn”);
if ($method == ‘POST’) {
fputs($fp, $data);
}while (!feof($fp)) {
$buf .= fgets($fp,128);
}
fclose($fp);
return $buf;
}Another tactic you could try is bouncing the request through a number of public proxies to avoid the IP ban.
For example: http://www.publicproxyservers.com/page1.html
The script could just cycle throught the list.
Brian-
I’m sure REI would be willing to host it. They have clinics every Tuesday night. Let me know and I can get you the contact info. -
