      Sparki2003,
      I have placed many caches in the Janesville area and a couple named Brain and Braun have placed many there as well. There is no fee or permit needed at this time. There are many areas that could use a few new caches and I will be happy to tell you about some of these. Also, Nurse Pat, Geojorg and Emmitt Bunny are good resources in the Janesville area too.

        Last September, in Illinois of all places, I reached into the crotch of a tree to retrieve a cache that I could see just a tiny bit of. When I reached around for the container I touched fur and heard a loud growl. Turns out an oppossum was sleeping there too. Since that time I have brought leather gloves along and use sticks to poke around as well. These things are not just in critter holes, remember to look in all concealled places before placing your hand in there.

          If you just came back from your daily walk around town, taking an hour longer than normal because you were busy hiding their Easter Eggs everywhere and marking their positions with your GPS… At least I’ll have a hour of free time tomorrow morning.

                  I am guilty of the Easter Egg thing. It was soon after that my children let me know that they knew the Easter Bunny was not real.

                    I am camping. Many of the closer campgrounds are first come first served. I have resevations at the I-24 campground.
