If the Wizard Of OC is willing, he could be the ruler of southern Oconto County. I give that region the name Yellow Brick Road.

After a six year hiatus, I hereby resurrect this thread. I would like to stake a claim to northern Oconto County as The Northern Star.

For me, the experience is what makes a cache memorable. The experience can very from one cache to another. For most of these caches, it might be the journey there, and those get a novel for a log. For others, it’s the cache itself, ie, gadget caches.

Normally I don’t mind members of the local caching community looking over each other’s caches. However, it’s normally done in some sort of official manner through a local caching association (think Lonely Cache Game or cache rescue, among other things) or between the cachers involved. What was fishy about this account called “Volunteer Cleanup” is that this account wasn’t a reviewer or a lackey, not even a premium member either. It looks like they were looking through caches in Illinois as well.

I just found this post on the GC forums: http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=335734&st=0&p=5545857&#entry5545857

I’ve had better success getting in lately after having been locked out…was a “fake Google crawler”??? Interesting…have been referred to by lots of interesting names but this one tops the list. LOL.
You’ve been called names? I certainly wouldn’t know by who. *whistles and walks away*

I’m wondering how this person might post on PMO caches when s/he is not a Premium Member.

One was just published in Green Bay for November 7th. Not mine, but I thought I would still advertise it here: GC65C86

I noticed that Bec and WisKid are still actively publishing caches as well. Could they be breaking in a new Wisconsin reviewer?

So far I just have Heritage Hill, Copper Culture, and I’ve just today grabbed High Cliff.

I must be one of the kewl people, because I’ve done the Star – intentional capitalization. I would also like to mention that I almost cleaned up High Cliff today, and some pretty neat containers were put out for the Spring Campout by WalkingAdventure, and one that I had to DNF brought me to a beautiful view of Lake Winnebago.

Thankfully I got one EC picked out in town (Green Bay) for Sunday, so I should be okay. Thanks for the heads up tho.

Congrats to Marc 5 Digits, ZIP Code, Little Chute, 54140, and those are just the nice names, on getting up to 20,000 caches found.

I’m just curious about one thing. There’s a cache listed in Townsend that I found in May of this year, and it was archived the same day. How is it still showing up on this list, and should I still submit a report? For reference, the cache I speak of is GC1HF99.
