The one I remember being archived by a lackey was called 9 Feet Above Wet: GC24JHB Yup, private property issues there as well.

Congrats on 5K Rod, you’ll be up to 10K in no time at all. It’s always fun caching with you.

4) <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>Upper Peninsula Counties – . . .getting a cache in each of the 13 counties in the UP is very doable.
Last time I checked, there were still 15 counties in the U.P. That is unless Michigan started ceding land back to Wisconsin. Still a good goal tho, the U.P. is a very beautiful area.

Funny thing is that I was just asking myself what I would do when I end up finding all the caches in Rhinelander. I would also like to find all the caches in the Green Bay metro area as well as northern Oconto County.

I made a run at joining the comma club (1,000 finds) today. I started the day at 998 and attempted two in Menasha while there for a conference. After finding one, I went for a multi for the milestone but DNF’ed as there was construction right on top of GZ for stage one. So my find count as of right now stands at 999. I’m looking for recommendations in the Green Bay area for a cache to hit the milestone on.

After doing my calculations, I’m only 35 away from joining the comma club. Thanks again everyone.

I’ll admit to spending a half an hour on a fire hydrant cache. What was I thinking?

Thanks Rod. I just found this post after being told about the one announcing labzone joining the comma club. BTW, thanks for putting up with us on Sunday while out doing the Bear Bait trail. Thanks to that, the comma club is in my near future.

That’s the same thing I was thinking when I put out such a cache several years ago, a field puzzle that I decided to classify as a multi. . .because those tend to be looked at and found more often than the mystery types. One thing I did as a CO was put in the Field Puzzle attribute so others will at least know what to look out for.

I can echo what Barry said. I had noticed that even with the two caches I own(ed) in Lakewood – one is a roadside P&G which is found quite often, the other was nearby but required a 500 foot walk off road and wasn’t found as often. . .an interesting study indeed. That sort of thing is something to consider, and city slickers don’t know what they’re missing north of 64.

Honestly, I’ve only ever has one Rhinelander cache with coords that were off. It had me looking for a micro in a rock pile by a city garage. One previous finder said the city would definitely keep GZ clear in the winter. I neglected to think to look on the fire hydrant that trip, and was looking for over half an hour in the rock pile that day.

I’ve actually heard about that cache.
My other internet based hobby has been considered odd. Have you seen a Where’s George dollar? Yep, that’s my other hobby. I went to Saint Louis a year and a half ago for a Where’s George gathering and ended up caching with about half a dozen other Georgers who also are cachers. I’ve even been able to sneak a few of my Where’s George dollars into caching events as well. -The Happy Hodag!
Well then you may be interested in GC2YJ56, although I must warn you that Wp2 is extremely evil!

While the Face The Music series seems to be within my area, I haven’t solved them all and probably never will. As for the other caches, it seems I don’t get to those areas enough to actually maintain anything except for a couple of WOSM caches. I know you’d like to keep your series together if at all possible, so I’ll have to pass on adopting any caches. Thanks for thinking of me WA.
