I checked on it after I saw you guys leave. Yes, it’s still there, just very well hidden.

This website was sent to me a couple months ago – I thought it was pretty cool, but I forgot all about it until I read this thread.
It has a pretty cool search feature that you might find useful in tracking down the weird stuff Wisconsin has to offer.
I got Babe The Blue Ox in Lakewood if you want to go from this site. I know this location is also mentioned in Weird Wisconsin.

Have you ever DNF’d a cache and were pretty sure it had gone missing (and you noted that in your log)? Then, several more DNF’s follow yours, but the cache owner doesn’t indicate that he’s disabling it or has done maintenance. You’d like to think the owner has checked it, but you’re not sure if (or when) you should take the time to go look for it again.
One cacher I met at an event brought up the fact to me that he didn’t disable a certain cache even though the container had been missing since August, and this was in March when he told me this. I attempted two of this same person’s caches in east De Pere, and logged DNF’s on them both. One of them was a multi and I couldn’t locate the first WP, which I had previously come in contact with but didn’t have my GPS the first time. What did the guy do? Nothing according to the cache logs, and the guy lives in east De Pere.

P.S. Names have been removed to protect the innocent, especially those other cachers who may or may not be involved with such activities. . .

You know you’re a GeoCacher if:
. . .you can easily walk up to any cache you have previously found without using your GPS.
. . .you are traveling past a cache site and stop for a moment just to see if the cache is still there.
. . .you walk into Fleet Farm and specifically ask for cammo tape.
. . .you have a streamlined cache setup station at your kitchen table.

Okay, in response to FireHogs here:
I can certainly appreciate why my one log on the cache listing was deleted. I have not and will not argue against that. However, when a cacher places a cache stating something to the effect of, “A cacher lives over there in relation to this cache” and then another cacher finds the cache, stating in their log, “I’m the cacher who lives there”, it’s pretty easy for me to connect the dots. I see the cache I referenced is no longer active, or at least was listed at dummy coords last time I checked, which I personally believe to be a good thing for the time being considering current circumstances. With that said, I have no doubt that you were doing what you thought was right, considering what was really going on that morning. If you and everyone else had that day to do all over again, I know nothing would have been done differently.
In regards to making a spreadsheet, I made this list of caches in the village of Allouez.

I need to vent on this. To the residents of Irwin and Kalb Streets: This cache had been here for almost two years – in fact, there was another cache in this park before this one. Why did you choose March 15, 2009 to report suspicious behavior at this cache site after so long? Was Wise River Rambler really any more suspicious than me or any other finder on this cache? This cache has been found at all various times on weekends, evenings, and other various times that you’re home and watching across the street at the park. Why not yesterday, or the day before, or when tkks was actually placing the cache? You had plenty of opportunity to call the police and tell them that there were GeoCachers there. Seriously folks. . .
