I don’t think archiving an event prevents people from logging. I’ve seen people log an attended a year after an event.
You’re right, and I look forward to seeing the logs of the remaining legit attendees roll in. With the event archived, I doubt the cacher in question is smart enough to look for it under my profile as event host. . .but we shall see.

I can understand if it was an out of towner who I hadn’t had the chance to chat with, but this was a well known local who I’ve actually cached with. The log in question mentioned “no known cachers” being there, but there were quite a few cachers there that he knows, including one of his old co-workers. I know there are a couple of legit attendees who still need to log, but I decided to archive just to ensure that the false logger won’t relog.

I had to delete a log from my event last Thursday, this cacher claimed to be there but never saw us. When I messaged the cacher in question, he had a few choice words for me. Considering his personality, I’m not surprised by that reaction. I’ll see what happens on Thursday at my Pocket Queries event.

I just saw that all ShopKo stores will be closing their doors by some time in June, I knew things were bad when I found out their HQ property in Green Bay was up for sale. A friend of mine works there and is still a couple years short of retirement, but I’m guessing he won’t look for work elsewhere.
