Just in time for my Saint Louis trip, I just spotted one of the new Virtual Rewards in Forest Park. That was already my chosen caching expedition, but that gives me another reason to go there on my free day on Friday.

I started my last stretch of preparations for my Saint Louis trip next weekend, I entered a few bills into Where’s George to bring for trading. I have to make one more trip to the credit union by Wednesday to make another withdrawal to ensure I have enough to trade while down there. Yes, that’s a thing we do at Where’s George gatherings.

I remember that whole thing in Ashwaubenon, I think that was eight years ago already. It makes me wonder what made someone have the epiphany that the thing in the fence post that’s been there a year and a half is all of a sudden a bomb.

Have you noticed that most of the caches placed by khbaker now are listed under another account? I donno if that’s another account belonging to the same guy, but this new account has 0 finds but owns 92 caches.

I did the Reforestation Camp caches just over a year ago, it was nice to visit there after over 25 years. There was at least one more there, but that got archived before my visit there.

There’s gonna be some pretty stiff competition for the Green Bay caches against all the Milwaukee area caches. I was talking to someone at the Hodag who said the geograpical center of the state was in Pittsville, but all the evidence I found pointed to Auburndale.

I remember that one way too well. There was another bomb scare about a year and a half before that one, same CO even. That’s exactly why I steer clear of placing caches near homes. I don’t get that logic, hey, there’s a cache there, let’s call it in as a bomb today.

I think this new cacher khbaker is placing his caches with a cell phone. So far every one I’ve come across was 30 feet off or more. Also the placement is not ideal. He has a series along a boulevard – smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood . All it takes is one phone call from a nosy neighbor and it’s the bomb scare crap all over again . Why were those caches allowed to be published? 🤔 I didn’t think caches on a boulevard were allowed.
I just did a series down the middle of a boulevard not too long ago in Neenah/Menasha, and am honestly suprised they’ve lasted as long as they have. Then there’s another series like this in Saint Louis, I’m gonna skip those in a couple weeks when I make my annual trip there.
