If you want to help break a world record on Saturday the 20th, log a Found It on any cache. You’ll get a souvenir for International Geocaching Day, and you’ll get an additional souvenir if the record is broken for most finds in a day. The previous record is from 2013, one that I sadly didn’t participate in because I was coming back home from Saint Louis that day.

Hello again Thread Stealers, I have an event alert for you. Yes, you still have a chance to attend Community Celebration events through the rest of the year as they come up. In fact, one just published in Green Bay for next month. I decided to host mine in conjunction with the WWFM on September 24from noon – 2 p.m. The location will be the City Deck downtown along the Fox River. Bring your umbrellas folks, I don’t know if it’ll rain, but that’s the theme of this WWFM event. The GC code is GC8JZXP

I had a fun experience yesterday while doing an adventure lab in Green Bay. I went out for the one at Lambeau Field, and the last spot took me over by the practice facilities. As I was leaving after completing the series, I noticed there were people walking towards me with cameras, turns out there were from TV stations across the state. Next thing I know, there were several men jogging by, turns out they were Packer players. So I started to wave at them to wish them the best for their upcoming game, and one of them gave me a high five. I recognized him as the coach. So I got to high five Matt LaFleur, coach of the Green Bay Packers.

I have my suspicions about where this new King Of The North cache is. I go through that neighborhood on a regular basis and hope to be FTF on it. Whenever I end up getting it, I’ll bring my Hodag along for the ride.

Try as we might, we couldn’t get our vaccinations until we got home…dose #1 at Lambeau on Wednesday. If you heard a large sigh of relief on a passing breeze, that was me.
Oh man, I missed you by a day. I got my first shot at Lambeau yesterday. I even brought my Hodag with me, he would have loved a visit with you.

As of the end of the first quarter, the Packers are all locked up in a 3-3 tie with the Rams. I know Aaron Rodgers and crew can pull off a win with the remaining time.
My next find will be 4,000. I’m contemplating hosting an event for that since I have one of the 20th anniversary events I can host. I was thinking of doing a “debate” between GPSr cahcers and phone cachers for that.
