Just because I haven’t posted in a while…
Whoa, another Green Bay cacher posting in here. I think I’ve seen you more in the past year than I’ve seen a certain busy bee we both know.
I read a blurb this morning naming the drunkenest city in each state. Green Bay topped the list not only for WI but for the whole U.S. No wonder you’re the only two posting here…the rest are sleeping it off.
I’ve been a regular at the local Old Chicago for close to five years, and am halfway through my 14th World Beer Tour. That’s 110 beers apiece, you do the math.

In other news today. . .I got an e-mail over the weekend from Old Chicago here in Green Bay that I had a code I needed to cash in at my home location here, there were several different amounts I could have won – $5, $10, $20, or $500. I went in and found out I won $20, so it was a free lunch and a couple of beers for me. I had a calzone for lunch, and I had several beers to add to my world beer tour and ended up only paying about $5 out of pocket after my $20 was taken off my bill. Because I also had my 55th beer on my current tour, I still walked away with $15 to use next time.

The Packers sucked on new levels today. How on Earth could they let the Ravens shut them out at home?
As I have been saying for years, the Packers have been carried by Brett Favre and Arron Rodgers for so long, the fans have forgotten that football is a team sport. Without Rodgers, the Packers are an average team.
I also think the coaching staff doesn’t think football is a team sport. Of course Brett Favre was a great quarterback in his day and Aaron Rodgers is also top notch. Rodgers is out at the moment, but that’s no excuse for the defense to man down. The offense also needs to step up and play football.

Just so everyone knows, at least one cache on the list in Green Bay is available and ready to be found. Fortunately for everyone, I wasn’t able to claim any points since it’s my own. Go and get it.

The link I posted a few posts back? That’s about brand new dollar bills that were printed, new signatures and a new series. It’s something I’ve been interested in for most of my life, and I heard this latest news from Where’s George.

If anyone attending the Fox Valley event next month want to come up to Green Bay after that, I’m hosting an event in the evening. The start time is 3:30 in the afternoon, so that will give y’all time to cache in Appleton or Green Bay in between if you hit both.

It looks like another one of mine has bit the dust. The city of Green Bay decided a few months back to build a dog park in a park a few blocks from home, and it happens I had a cache in that same park. Turns out the group of bushes where I had my cache was just inside the fence, and the very bush my cache was hidden fell victim to landscaping. Not that I mind seeing caches in dog parks, but I guess this one wasn’t meant to be for me.
In other news, I had to run to the DMV today. Believe it or not, I got in and out in about 20 minutes, and that’s not even record time for me.

Another thing I’ve been seeing is cachers who actively don’t log DNF’s when they go out. The incident that prompted me to archive this time around was a cacher who opted to private message me a whole day after the fact. I don’t mind if someone sends a private message, but also log the DNF so that other cachers are aware of the situation in case the CO can’t get to it right away.
