We really liked the concept but maybe it could use a little fine tuning. The best thing was that we could take our 3 year old grandaughter along on these which she really liked since there was a chance to rest in between.
Good job on this achievement and we will be seeing you soon on the cache trail.
Way to go Jeff. Glad to have met you a few times while out caching. We’re hoping to get there someday.
BillWe would have to give our vote for hardest to find to You Can’t Be Serious in Manitowoc.
BillI don’t think we should extend the deadline for cache of the year as the number of votes seems to be in line with cache of the month voting. Since this is a first effort it probably will be slow to start but with a little effort by all of us to interest other people it should be bigger and better next year. This will also allow the January cache of the month voting to get started.
BillI like the ribbon idea so it stands out from the other WGA banner. Also if we are going to keep doing this lets not forget to put the year on as well as the month since some of these caches could be out for quite a while.
BillWe are in the planning stages of an extensive multicache hunt which will require driving from one to the other. If everything works out you will be able to log finds at many of the stops and we are trying to place them in areas with other caches so others can be hunted at the same time. This does take some time to set up and plan but after the holidays we will be at it again.
We also plan on doing Ken and Robins multi but we thought it would be best done on bikes and since the weather has turned to winter we were planning on waiting until spring. Wish we would have been able to do it already.

Good job and a tasty cache for this time of the year. Keep on having fun at this great sport.
The SearchersGlad to see another milestone for someone. Keep caching and hope to see you on the trail.
The SearchersGreat job. It’s good to have so many dedicated geocachers in the area. Keep it up. We enjoyed looking back and thinking about all the nice places we’ve been to since we started.

The SearchersYes we did drive to Nevada and tried to do at least one cache in each state we went through. This didn’t always work because of the time and distance from our route. Saw some neat areas we would like to get back to. Love the mountains.
The SearchersThanks for the notice. Its been a great time thanks to everyone that has placed a cache. Glad to be involved with all you wonderful people here and around the U.S. We have done some caching in a few other states but always like to get back to the Wisconsin ones.
Bill and DebbieHere is the update on plans for the childrens activities at the picnic. We are planning on 2 easier caches for the smaller children and 2 others for the older group. Each child will also recieve a goodies package when registering. We will have a printed sheet similar to the ones being handed out for the caches. Debbie and Katie will have activiteis available for the children all day but this is not a child sitting service so parents still need to be responsible for their children. Any moms or dads that would like to help out for a time during the day please let us know on the day of the picnic. See you for a fun day.

I think the picnic would be a great place to start the discussions on the DNR situation. This would give everyone a chance to hear lots of ideas and then think about it more. Then later we should schedule a time just for this purpose. Maybe even come up with a date at the picnic for further discussion. I’m sure most of us would like to participate in this in some way.
BillJust checking out the forum to see that it worked for us. Good idea and we will be in contact soon with plans.
