Steve says thanks for looking. He has had a new set of keys cut. I am going to try to help find them on Saturday, if I’m not out geocaching the Horicon area.
I did the OIT Trailside cache and had great fun doing it. I look forward to doing more bike trail caches in the future. I might set one up myself.
Thanks Ken for your kind words. I’m a Geocacher that loves the hunt. One must prepare for whatever weather nature throws at you. By far the worst weather I’ve hunted a cache in was the rain storm while hunting Near Mirror 2. Physically, the nine caches I hunted in Southern Kettle Moraine on Dec 28 were more exhausting than the 25 mile bike ride. All are fun and that’s why I like to cache. Thanks again.
JimAs I recall, I hunted this one on the date of my 23rd wedding anniversary. I’m still married and still geocaching, and in good company.
On Friday late afternoon I hunted for Sockos Venerable Oak. I bet I turned over every stinking stone around there. Well, The next day I had a lighthouse meeting in Port Washington. At the meeting, Lee Lansinger asked me if I was into Geocaching. Small world, I met somebody else that has a passion for lighthouses & geocaching. We started talking, and I told him how I couldn’t find the Venerable Oak. That’s when he told me about the cache thief. If its not hard enough to find a cache, now you have to wonder if it’s really there. If the person is a disgruntled geocacher that’s taking the caches, please put away your GPSR and find another hobby. If you have a grudge against Socko, get over it! Put the caches back and lets the rest of us have fun. I suspect the thief is familar with this site and Geocaching.com so If your reading this. Please leave the caches in their place for the rest of us to find and enjoy.
Case closed, Thanks!
Thanks for the information. On response #2 How did the thumbnails of the picnic get into my album? If you click on the thumbnail the correct image appears. Not worried, just wondering.
