If you are talking about me, I saw they did not log because it was either gone or could not get it out. So I did a maintenance run. These are caches I adopted and this was the first time I got to go check them. There are a lot of caches I could see but it was a real bear to get. I have also known where a cache was, but it was gone. If you want it you should sign it. If it is not there and 10 people tell you that is where it is, do you log it? I have done a lot of things to sign a log that normally I would have said forget it. That is part of the challenge.
I have had 2 caches that they say were found. One was hard to get out and they logged it online the other they said they found pieces. When I did a maintenance run, the first was hard but I got it out and the other was gone and so was the hiding place. I deleted there logs as I got it out and there was no cache or hiding place for it left. I found a 5 5 in the Harry Potter Series and when I got to it we forgot pens. I logged it and asked Dr. Dolittle if it was OK and that the next week I would go back and sign it. He wanted me to delete the log till I did sign it. I had no problem with this. You should sign the log to get credit.
ThanksSend me a PM.
ThanksSince you do not think I am right, here is what Garmin states.

Now if you look it up you will see that the 24K Topo is road routable. The Topo that comes with the T models is not. It is also more detailed than the 100K.
This is where you were not reading, I never said anything about City Navigator it has been one unit maps since 2008. I said Topo 24K which is for all units with one program and is road routable.
ThanksI have used these maps on 3 other units and it has always worked. You have Topo 2008 I think and it is not routable. The 24K are. I have an email into Garmin to see if the new 24K is for one unit. I am telling you this will work and it will cost you nothing to try it. I no longer use Garmins, I am a Delorme person now. I do have 2 Nuvi 500’s that I love and a forerunner 305.
Thankscheezehead
If you read about the Topo 24K it states that it is road routable and you can use it on as many units as you like.
ThanksI have the 24K topo for Wisconsin. If you want I will load it for you, all you have to do is send me a SD card.
ThanksThe Lenzes

ThanksThe dakota was a little better in the sun. It was small and I liked that. I am just not a touch screen person. I love the buttons and that ia why if I did buy another Garmin it would be the 62s. I still think the Delormes are a better deal and IMO a better unit.
ThanksFirst you want paperless and the 60csx is not. The new 62 Garmin is and is a nice unit. I am a big fan of Delorme, but have had almost all of the Garmins that have come out in the last few years. IMO I do not like the Oregons, I do like the Dakota and the 62. For me it has always been Delorme and the same for my Wife.
Delorme comes with everything you need. Maps and paperless caching.Team_Sandman
Who do you have for your service?
ThanksI just got my 62S and so far so good. I am a Delorme user and just had to try this unit. It does show hints, logs ect. It is a great unit for caching. I also have the 24K Topo which is road routable which is nice. For me it is buttons unless something new comes out from Delorme or Garmin. The touch screen is nice, but you can change your data feilds on the screen by touching them. I was always changing them without trying. If you need anymore advice PM me.
ThanksThere is also the Delorme PN-40 and 60. Very easy to use as are the Newer Garmins.
I have had the Oregon 300, 450, Dakota 20, vista 60csx and delorme pn-20, 40 and 60. I did not like the touch screen. A 3 axis compass is a must and I like the layout of the delorme and 62s. As far as price garmin is more. I love new tech items and do a lot of trading and selling to do so.
