I usually go through someone like me or Amazon. If I think I can trust the person. Amazon is great, if you do not like it just return and put not as described. They will pay for return shipping. The only things that the PN-60 has is better battery life, new interface and more internal memory.
    Thanks

You need to upgrade to the 2.7 firmware and the you can load as many as the SD card will hold. I have dad the Colorado, oregon 300 and 450 and the Dakota 20. I will never go back to the handheld Garmins. You have to pay for routing and it is not up to date. I like the way the Delormes do multi’s and I can see it when I am driving.
    Thanks

Why not check out the Delorme PN-40

in reply to: Looking to buy a new GPS #1929390

I have owned all of the above execpt the 200, I had the 300 and the 450. If you go with a Garmin there are free maps so you do not need the T. Out of the garmins I liked the Dakota 20 the best. There is a problem seeing it in the sun and when driving. I went back and am staying with the Delorme PN-40 and already have a PN-60 on pre-order. If you would like I could help you out with maps if you decide to go with the garmins. Again do not buy a T, the free maps are actually better than the Topo’s garmin has. I also will be selling a like new PN-40 when I get my PN-60.
    Thanks

    60CSX
    Oregon 300 and 450

I now have gone with what I like the best.
    2 Delorme 40’s
    Nuvi 500
I am waiting for the PN-60 to come out and I will have that also.

The maps that come with the Delormes is road routable 100K Topo. They are very good and updated more than the Garmins. I have used both and keep going back to the Delorme. The $30 all you can load is a great deal and you can use it on as many units as you want. The road routing is good but not as good as the Garmins, but it comes with the unit and you do not have to pay extra for the maps like Garmin. I have also for that the PN-40 is more stable than the Dakota 20 and the Oregons. I have been saving for the PN-60 since it was put on Amazon as a pre order.
    Thanks

Does anyone here use Cache Register from Delorme? I use it and it is great. I have GSAK but I never really use it. With CR all you do is run a PQ and then open CR and load it to your GPS. It is fast, easy and $10.
    Thanks
