I know it’s a bit far, but if any of you are going to the Berkshire Geobash in July (GC3G4AY) I’ve donated two autographed copies of Cached Out as raffle prizes. I’m planning to do the same for the 2nd Annual EarthCache Mega in St. George, Utah, in September but the organizers haven’t gotten back to me yet. I may go to that Mega Event. In the meantime, I’m selling autographed copies by mail at a discount ($13 including postage and sales tax in the US) while supplies last. Contact me by email through GC.com (The Rat) or direct at Russ.Atkinson [at] gmail if interested.

Somebody needs to buy this book and then turn it into a travel bug when they’re done reading it.
Thanks for all the positive comments, folks. FYI, there are four TB’s themed on the book floating about. One for the UK, one for Aus. & NZ, and two for the US. I should have also done one for Canada. The two US ones are named Cached Out – West and Cached Out – East, with the division being the Mississippi River. I would feel delighted if someone decided to create more, so if so inclined, go for it. I thought someone might make a puzzle or multi cache based on the book, but so far as I know, no one has done so. Remember, I do provide a 10% discount to geocachers on the paperback if you contact me through the GC site.
Hi, I’m the author. I just heard that the book got mentioned here. Thanks for the free publicity. I thought I’d log in here in case anyone has any questions for me. It is available by paperback, not just Kindle, but it is only available through Amazon or the paperback publisher, CreateSpace. Amazon has Kindle and paperback but CreateSpace has only the paperback. It a 6″x9″ paperback – full-sized, not the small pocket type. It is not available in other ebook formats and not available from Barnes & Noble, at the library, etc. I had to restrict it in order to keep the price down for everybody. I do have a way to give a 10% discount for the paperback if you buy through CreateSpace, not Amazon. Contact me by email if you want the discount code. I only offer this to geocachers. You can reach me through my geocaching account (The Rat), or this forum may allow you to do it by pm, but the book has gotten mentioned in quite a few local forums now and I don’t have the time to log into all of them regularly, so contact me by email. I probably won’t see replies on this thread regularly.
