Birdin, if it was perrot state park, it may have been the park naturalist I gave a geocaching 101 lesson to after she gave me and the family orientiering 101. We got talking and your name came up and she said she knew you from your story telling and the birding forums. I wish i could remember her name.

The only thing I have to compare with is my friends who have a 60csx’s and they seem to be able to lock and hold much much better than I can in heavy canopy. On the other hand, my phone gps is a thousand times worse than my gps at getting a signal pretty much anywhere.
I do like my vista, just want to make it a bit better.
Welcome to a fun family sportactivity, hope you enjoy it.

You have a couple options, you could put a micro sd card into it and transfer the pictures from local memory to the card and then to a pc, if you have a data plan you could email the pictures from your phone to your email account or if it has a microusb connector on the side ( i couldnt tell looking at the specs of it) hook it up to your pc and it may recognize it as a storage device and you can copy them off.

NateThank you for the thread on waysides and rest areas, that was the part I remember.
When caching on your lunch hour, change your clothes or keep a pair of overalls in your car…. I found this out the hardway today, I’m pretty sure these grass and mud stains arent coming out.
Thanks Paul that will work.
Thanks for the amazingly quick answers. I may have to try the game this month, and see how I do.
