I think they picked a terrible name for them, and I think its funny the one is a photo challenge, while ALR’s like pictures for other caches are banned. I am trying to be optimistic on these but its hard.

Thanks guys, I got a GSAK tutorial on facebook from KC9GBO last night and I was able to import the KML points into GSAK as a filter and find within .5 of that route and it worked wonderfully.

I hadnt even thought about limiting the pq for DT but that is a great idea, not only will it show a bigger area if i limit them. I think I will use that found in the last x days also.

    I appreciate all the help!

We had a great weekend, our cabin rental was about 100 yards from lake superior and 500 yards west of the mouth of the brule river. We hit Port Wing and Wisconsins oldest school bus and the little museum there, twin falls cave was very cool and the cache there made my favorites list. The steam train in Ashland was a hit with my 4 yr old. Hurleys Gnaughty or Gneiss was a cool stop for a cache and then over to michigan to check out the 52′ tall indian. Headed up to superior falls and did the EC and the most westerly point in michigan cache. Those falls were cool, we crawled along the rocks and got pretty close. We spent some time at Amnicon falls state park, and then hit hayward on the way home. Went thru the fresh water fishing hall of fame and the giant muskie, and the micro near there. We hit the Norske Nook for PIE, huge giant pie and then headed home. All together a fun filled weekend with lots of driving and trees 🙂 thanks for the suggestions all.

WOW thanks everyone, that gives us a bunch more ideas, Hayward, Port Wing, Ashland, Ironwood, Hurley, Superior Falls, Copper Falls, and Amnicon Falls have made the list, I just hope we have enough time to see all we want!

That more than likely refers to Level 2 Cache memory, not Geocaching.

    check for different base combinations
    check for patters
    check for math trickery
numbers may represent letters that spell something.
check the source code of the page there might be a hint there
there is probably a clue somewhere, lots of hiders put them in the title or the name its posted under or clever wording in the description.
really need to see the whole picture to help more than that.

Cache Bash, Geocoin Fest and I think Moga this year all got an icon, and all 50 states and german states will ahve one eventually.

I’m “running” the Wisconsin one with my sister, the one in Minnesota you have to run up a Ski Hill, no thanks on that one. Post what wave you sign up for so we can cheer each other on! Or if you want someone to “race” with we can coordinate wave times. I don’t plan on going fast, just finishing.
