I have done some of his EC’s that were in DC. Giant Head is one of them that was archived that I did.
If santa brings me some shoeshoes like I asked for, I would be interested depending on when, and how comfortable I am walking with shoes by then.

I hate it when that happens…
My son loves that show, thats kind of a cool tie in. I would hope for a new icon because the souvinirs are kind of silly if you ask me. Right now it kind of seems to me you will get one for each state you visit and for mega’s and other events they can think up. I have 7 so far, what i dont get is why they dont give you a thumbnail of the picture so you dont have to click on it to see what they look like.
I asked for chest waders, snow shoes and a climbing harnass
Black light
Full set of rain gear
multiple GPS’s
cacheberry
wellies
50 foot of strong rope
headlamps
tweezers
leatherman
5 gallon bucket
thermometer
stop watch
scissors
all kinds of containers
duct tape
spools of different colored wire
fishing line
34 threaded rod
30″ screwdriver
probably some other stuff i forgot about that is rolling around in the back of my carHe told me the story of your trip, and if I totally see why he doesnt want to fly.
I used to hate flying scared me so bad, and then I had to do it for work almost monthly between madison and DC. I had to be medicated to do it at first, and then slowly got used to it and can fly with no drugs now. Would statistics help convince him?
When I am in a cemetery wether it be for a cache or otherwise, I just tell them I am a Taphophile. Its easier to explain that I love the artwork and engraving on headstones, and that the stories they tell are a piece of history. People “get” history and art, they have a harder time wrapping there heads around hiding some tupperware in a cemetery and using satelites and technology to find it.
That may just work, I was thinking 2-3 inches so that gives me lots of options! Thanks!
I think its funny that the last 2 wsq’s in my area to publish, said special thanks to pastor so and so, and the hide has been a completely non traditional wsq hide within feet of a sign saying that pastors name on it….
Cars work the same way as the bugs for discovered, just enter in the number you see on the sticker. My car is trackable also.
You know that is a very interesting idea grandpa, maybe wiskid or greyhounder can answer that for us.
I am suprised how many trig and calc votes there were, but rest assured there will not be any sw wisconsin caches that require either in the field, from me atleast. Thank you all for the comments, they were very helpful in figuring out what direction to take this idea.
I leave mine out, any that are in public hunting lands are either in spots I can’t imagine a hunter would venture or areshould be camo’d enough to avoide detection by a hunter. It’s less work for me to replace 1 or 2 caches that go missing than to go pull them all and put them all back for hunting.
I put my PQ into my car gps, handheld gps and then i print the map off of mapsource with labels so i can visually look at where I am going. I will also sit down and make a list of the order I want to visit the caches in, if it is more than 10 or so.
