58623 is the zip code for Bowman ND, probably where that zoo is. If there is a code in that bottom silver rectangle box that is were the tracking number would go i would guess.

Not to hijack the thread, but on this same note, do you rate how well you hid your cache based on people DNF’ing? I know for some it has to be, and for others its satisfying seeing their cache found. Just curious on everyone’s thoughts.

I have a cache in the Viroqua cemetery that has about the same ammount of dnf’s as finds. I think this is probably my best hide, not because of dnf’s but because of the comments I get on the cache after people go back and make the find, sometimes after an extra hint from me, sometimes it just jumps out at them the 2nd or 3rd time they visit.

I rate my hides on the comments I get, the more time people spend on there log, the better I feel about my hide in general. When someone logs a dnf on one of my caches I usually send them a message asking if they would like an additional hint, because I want people to find my caches, thats why I put them out there.

Can’t you accomplish this by way of a challenge cache? Or a “Crazy DNFer”-type cache?

Might be a cool the other icon challenge, x finds, x dnfs, x maintenace performed, x temp disabled, x notes, x will attends etc.

hehe i just checked 113 dnfs and only 1133 smileys, 1 to 10 ratio or so, looks like i miss alot 🙂

I log all my dnf’s and try to do them on the same day as i went looking, I have had multiple days in a row of dnfs on the same cache and logged them all. when i find it i log the find, and leave all the dnfs there.
