MemberI was called by a Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune Reporter, she said that a fellow cacher pis4piglet – Tammy Koch had given her my number and she had asked me all kinds of questions. The article appeared in the November 3, 2012 Daily Tribune under the title “Geocaching offers high-tech fun” by Deb Cleworth. She used mostley what Tammy had to say about caching. Of all the information that I provided her with she had only focused on what I had to say about how I started, about me getting a GPSr for Christmas, and about how I like to go after FTFs and about canoing the river in Ferurary for a FTF. I had shared so much more. But I can’t control what they print.
Thank you,

MemberI would also say education, I have been stopped by the police, sherrif, DNR, security gaurds while I’m out and about geocaching, and many of them have no idea what geocaching is…I almost always have a WGA T-shirt on while caching and keep some printouts to show to LEOs to help explain about geocaching to them, after that I usaually don’t have a problem then, Heck Ive even had a few of them turn on their spot lights to help look for and see what it is I’m looking for.
Thank you,

MemberI try to get to as many events as I can anyways, I mostly have problems with Sunday’s that I am serving at Church on the Tech Team, because those Sundays I am at church from around 8:30am – 12:30pm. I am bummed because This year I have to miss the Janboree caching events in Waukesha, because I will be attending a wedding in Wisconsin Rapids. If I were elected to the BOD I would of course try that much more to be participating in WGA events and attending others as well.
Thank you,

MemberI am a shift worker, every week is a differnt shift. I have most weekends and holidays off. I am involved with our church to a degree where I sereve on the Worship Arts Tech Team, where I serve as either a Producer, Sound Tech, or Visual Tech. for Sunday morning services. I am usaully the Producer on the second Sunday every month, and have been luckey enough to get trades for the Cache Ba$h, and vacations. I also sub for others when needed and serve during special events, or services at times. I would try to get to all events but sometime we need to compromise like at the at the Gov Dodge WGA Camp Out, I worked the 3rd shift Friday drove down to CITO, Meet and Greet and eat some pig, help map out trails while cgeocaching, and then cache my way home to serve at church Sunday morning. There will always be something sometime where family would have to come first as well. Weddings, funerals and such. Thanks for asking Brian.

MemberI think maybe more folks are checking out the WGA page on Facebook more now and they are posting some there. That’s all that I can think of at the moment. I for one very seldom checked the WGA page for anything other than up- coming Events until I was nominated to the WGA BOD. Also I was slow moving into modern times I just went from dial up internet to DSL.

MemberSo far, I have only participated in 4 CITO Events…
GC3DMTQ-2012 WGA Campout CITO
GC3FFNN-Zima Celebrates Earth Day
GC3DN3M-2012 WGA Spring Adopt Highway CITO
GC2M62T- Belle City CITO Event
I’ll try to get to as many as I can, I like the stories of adventures and chit chat with the others a we pick up trash and there are also possiblities of finding a cache or two in the process.TJSAAVEDRA
MemberI live in Wisconsin Rapids which is in central WI. I’m originally from Racine so caching to and from Racine I cover quite a bit if turf in SouthEastern WI. But also venture North into Rhinelander, Eagle River, Sayner, Medford, and Door County areas every year too. I am a member of the Belle City Coffee Clutch (BCCC)a geocacing group in Racine that meets for coffee Saturday mornings and talks all things geocaching and then some. I find it really neat how a GPSr led to a new bike, skies, snowshoes, kayak, another GPSr and lots of great friendships. Two of my most recent memorable WI geo-adventures Would have to be the Amazing Geocaching Race on a section of the Bug Line Trail down in Sussex, how a team of four cachers who never met before became a team and then FRIENDS. And how a Wild Bunch of WI Geocachers made an attack on Camalot at GC3WKNB-The Quest for the Holy Grail down in Iowa. And locally some my favorites were GC13MR-Skeleton Keys, GC13MRE- Spinal Coord, GC1M3QZ-Bone Collector. They were fun advetures of chasing down travel slugs with clues and then canoeing the Wisconsin River, solving field puzzles. Oh and of coures as of late fianally solving and finding GC249BJ-Granny Squares.

MemberI just sent off an email to Renee Tapp, asking the same question. I had to miss the Campout Event, and thought the coins should have been sent out by now. I never thought to look here until now…

MemberJust like I stated before…I made several copies if the rings. I left 1 copy whole, then I cut the next ring set missing the outter most ring of each copy untill when all stacked up it looks just like the orginal. I put a tack in the center of the stack and then turned them several ways until I had what looks like it may work. Using the posted coords for reference. and reading the whole page for CLUES, for a solve. but If you’re looking for how to set this puzzle up, I have no clue.
