I may break down and cache on Saturday. I just won’t log them for a while. There has to be a time limit on when I have to log a cache in order to get a souvenir.

I’ll take notes on each cache so I can still remember what I did.

That is what I’m hoping for. Usually I log finds right away. But I might be willing to wait several days to log a find if needed.

I never really look at my souvenir page. It wasn’t until the “31 Days in August” thingy came up that I looked at the page to see the two state souvenirs for MI and WI. Otherwise I don’t pay attention to that page.

So i’m gonna cache as I normally do, which is like a few times a month, usually at the spur of the moment.

So if I get a souvenir, I get a souvenir. If I don’t, I don’t. No biggie either way. Don’t matter to me.

You can still log them for August. But you have to wait a certain time. I think Groundspeak will give you a certain amount of time to log your August finds before they take away the souvenirs.

I think the real challenge here is – try NOT to cache in
August so we can NOT get these souvenirs on our profile page – 😆

So far, I only have two and those are for caching in MI and WI.

Wow. When I got my 200th find on the Pike Powdered hike back in 2009, there were only like 4 caches at Pike Lake state park. 2 were traditionals, which I found, one was a puzzle which I did not solve and an earthcache that I forgot to load in my receiver.

So I look at the current map to see what Amita got and holy crap, Pike Lake is loaded with caches. I’ll have to go back there someday.
