Looks like the video is down. I don’t see it. The link took me to the main youtube page.

How did I miss this? Congratulations, Sandlanders. Maybe we’ll hit a cache or two.

This series have been nominated for May Series of the Month.

Not gonna do it. Just too many conflicts in the summer. Maybe I’ll wait till fall.

And I don’t know if I can make this work myself. Just got reminded my family reunion is the same weekend. I thought that was in June.

My next best weekend is August 18-19. I’ll get this going somehow.

My area also has two great series of caches – the Mission Impossible series and the Henes Park series.

I most definitely will be putting out more caches in the area before the event.

I’ll wait for more feedback before I post the event. Thanks, Tom 🙂

in reply to: Logging DNF’s #1960312

I was just joking, Ryan. I probably would qualify anyways with my 232 DNF’s thus far. And that does not include the deleted logs of DNF’s of caches I went back and later found. I do delete DNF logs at times.

And if my memory is right there are challenge geocaches for having a certain number of DNF’s logged. So there is another plus to logging them.

    Personally I’ve logged 559 DNF’s since I started caching.

All I have to do is armchair log DNF’s and then go after the challenge cache, right? 😛

Not like anyone can prove I didn’t actually visit a cache to log the DNF the way a signature on the log proves I was there on a “Found it” log.

So not much of a challenge cache there.

I log every DNF’s unless I only made a half assed effort to look for a cache due to muggle presence in which case I don’t either log it at all or just put a note saying I was there.

Think I’m gonna cancel my Brewers game next weekend and do this series, I didn’t get the tickets yet.

I’m interested. Are there parking coordinates for this series? I wanna drive down with my bike to do this.

Thanks. Due to a number of circumstances that delayed my milestone, I was happy to get this one of my back. This was a fun walk and not as hard as it looks.

I’m not fond of mega events. I’m more suited for smaller events with like 10-30 people attending at a local restaurant. Eat, share geocaching stories, maybe hit a cache or two near the location.

Too much crap going on at mega events that they are on my ignore list.

    Sorry.

in reply to: Premium member logging help? #1959875

None of my caches are premium caches. They all are meant to be found by everyone.

If I was to have an unique cache or have one in front of my house (which I am considering), I might consider making it a PMO cache, but for the most part, I want all geocachers to find my caches.

So no worries about non premium cachers finding my caches and having to log them.

in reply to: Premium member logging help? #1959865

Another option is to e-mail the CO of a premium cache. Some CO’s may be willing to temporarily make the cache a regular cache so the non premium member cacher can log the find then they will change the cache back to premium.

Not all CO’s will do this though. All depends who the CO is and other circumstances.
