    HER DIARY / HIS DIARY

    HER DIARY:
Tonight I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar
to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought
he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment.

Conversation wasn’t flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we
    could talk. He agreed but he kept very quiet. I asked him what was wrong;
he said nothing. I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset.

He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry.

On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept
    driving. I can’t explain his behavior; I don’t know why he didn’t say I
love you too. When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted
nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there and watched T.V.

    He seemed distant and absent.

Finally, I decided to go to bed.. About 10 minutes later he came to bed,
and to my surprise he responded to my caress and we made love, but I still
felt that he was distracted and his thoughts were somewhere else.

He fell asleep – I cried. I don’t know what to do. I’m almost sure that his
thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

    HIS DIARY:

Today the Packers lost, but at least I got laid.

I will not be attending. I’ve decided to spend the weekend in Marquette instead. You guys have fun.

I didn’t go to Milwaukee. Personal issues came up. Maybe next year. Thanks for the suggestions anyways.

Nice to see a local cache picked for a milestone.

The CO has been inactive so if anyone knows where I can download nano logs, I’ll get that replaced.

    Anyways, nice job, LN.

Thanks. I don’t like driving from cache to cache. It’s not about the numbers for me anymore unless I want to hit a milestone on a certain date. I just want to park once or twice and enjoy a nice walk in the woods and get a few caches while I’m at it.

I hate you guys for living in a cache rich area…lol..maybe I should move to West Bend someday – lol.

in reply to: So How Many Are There In Your Circle? #1930783

I don’t live in a cache rich area…not including Door County, which is about 18 miles across the bay, I have about 30 some caches in my area…3 are still unfound…one is a night cache whose tacks I have trouble finding. The other two needs a boat or kayak to get to.

For the most part, I have to travel. See my miles traveled in a certain radius on my GC profile.

At one point during a game, the coach called one of his 9-year-old baseball players aside and asked, ‘Do you Understand what cooperation is? What a team is?’ The little boy nodded in the affirmative. ‘Do you understand that what matters is whether we win Or lose together as a team?’ The little boy nodded yes..

‘So,’ the coach continued, ‘I’m sure you know, when an Out is called, you shouldn’t argue, curse, attack the umpire, Or call him a pecker-head. Do you understand all that?’ Again the little boy nodded.

He continued, ‘And when I take you out of the game so another boy gets a chance to play, it’s not good sportsman- ship to call your coach ‘a dumb asshole’ is it?’ Again the little boy nodded.

    Good,’ said the coach.

‘Now go over there and explain all that to your grandmother.

in reply to: forged logs #1930194

TFTC – Thanks for the cache.

I dislike those logs. Not very original.

Always write about something that you liked about each cache. Doesn’t have to be an essay. Something like “Loved the view here. Awesome hiding spot” will do.

To me, “TFTC” logs show disrespect to the cache owner as they would spend hours placing the cache and all they get is a “TFTC” for their efforts.

Thankfully not every cacher does the “TFTC” thing. I enjoy reading logs by cachers saying how much they loved the cache and what fun they had finding it.

Cut and paste logs are another annoyance, but that’s another subject for another day.

in reply to: letterbox hybrid caches #1896668

Not to change the subject, but I read your log on that, HP. Because Door County is like 20 miles across the bay from me, they fall in my notification range even though it’s like a 2 hour drive around the bay. So I get plenty of logs from the DC area.

Anyways, We have a few letterboxes in my hometown and one is like 20 feet from a cache that is now archived. Many cachers have said they have found the letter box thinking it was the cache itself.

So I wonder if there should be some rule about caches being a certain distance apart from a letterbox. I’m not saying it should be 528 feet as it is with any other caches. But it should be far enough apart to avoid confusion on what is what. I think 100 feet is sufficient. The problem with that is – many letterboxes do not have coordinates so there is no way of knowing how close the letterbox or cache are.

But hopefully there is a solution to avoid confusement in the future.
