Nuvi it is. EnegerySaver made a good point – I already know how to operate the device and do not need the manual.

    Gonna get it tomorrow.

I was using the 200. I’m getting the 205. Not sure what’s the difference. But meh, it’ll still work as well as the 200.

Fog lights. I Do know the difference, and they’re not on at all times.
Daytime running lights don’t bother me.

Meh. Fog lights don’t bother me if it is not foggy. It still makes the car more visible from the distance when I’m on a two lane highway and trying to pass. I like any cars with headlights, daytime lights, or fog lights on so I can see them more clearly and better judge the distance in order for me to pass safely.

If it isn’t foggy, turn your fog lights off. And it’s one or the other, not both.

    Here or To Go
Please don’t assume that just because I walked into McDonalds alone it does not mean it’s ok for you to give me my food in a bag as if I wanted it “to go” without asking me first.

Don’t bother me either way. Whether I get it on a tray or in a bag, I still get my food either way.

People who still write checks at the store
It’s 2010, yet there are people who still don’t understand the conveniences of a check card or debit card. The money comes out of the exact same account!
Checks still have their place in society. (Paying bills, for example) but not in line at the grocery store.
In case you do feel the need to write a check at the grocery store ESPECIALLY IN THE EXPRESS LANE, please, while you’re waiting in line, you can do EVERYONE a favor by filling out the basic information such as the name, date, etc. ahead of time.

Not everyone is eligible for a debit card. Plus many elderly people prefer paying by check either by choice or because they do not understand now a debit card works. Oh, and it takes just as long waiting for debit or credit approval to go through. Longer if it is credit as the buyer still has to sign the credit slip.

2/29 the only day you have left, Marc? That’s amazing.

What if you e-mail the reviewer the photo instead?

Have to admit the one that caught my eye is Todd300s blog name, you are not alone Todd there is at least one other cacher with the same problem.

I thought you’d like that. I figure there would be other deaf or hearing impaired cachers, but do not know who they are.

    Wow. Well said, Marc.

I have 3 cemetery hides myself and plan to place more this spring.

I enjoy cemetery caches and looking at the different markers and taking in a bit of history to boot.

    How about this?

What cache owner has the most counties with at least one hide?

in reply to: Puzzle cache poll #1922207

I’ve always cached solo on puzzle caches. I have only found two puzzles that are not field solves. I took a look at other puzzles and didn’t even bother to sit down and try and solve it. I’m not gonna spend 10 hours trying to crack a puzzle. If I can’t even begin to figure it out, on my iggy list it goes.

But I will not log caches that I didn’t solve. This goes for challenge caches too.

    Thanks. I missed that.

OK. I might have how to do this now.

    1. Go to geocaching.com and click on “my profile”.
    2. Click on your stats bar (with the GC logo on it).
    3. Copy the entire http address at the top.

    4. Back on the WGA site, click on “your account” at the bottom of the main menu to the left.
    5. Click the “membership info” tab.
    6. Near the top right under your caching name, past the http address you copied in the geocachiing.com spot.
    7. At the bottom of the page, click on “update”.

You should now have the 4-color GC logo after your account name here. If I’m remembering right, now the harvester will recognize your out-of-state finds as belonging to a Wisconsin cacher here. Because this is an optional part of your profile, it doesn’t happen automatically.

Jeremy or others, feel free to correct anything I have said here.

Doesn’t work for me. Keeps telling me the GC URL is invalid. Maybe because I’m a WGA friend and not a member.
