    That worked.

    Thanks 😉

    My opinion:

    1) Offensive line is just that – offensive. OL Coach James Campen needs to go. No doubt. I feel that Sitton, Lang and Barbre can be good if they can get the proper coaching. Once Spitz is back in the lineup, hopefully the line will improve.

    2) Special teams are horrible. What the f— was Kuhn thinking? And they need to contain kick returners. If they continue to let kick returners return long kicks, then they might as well just kick the ball out of bounds and let the other team start on their 40.

    3) Rodgers is still a great QB. Just had a bad day. Who doesn’t? Even that former QB of GB now playing for the Queens had his share of bad days when he played for the Pack. Rodgers need to have confidence that his line can protect him. Otherwise, with every hit that he’s taking, he’s becoming more skittish on the field. He showed that Sunday.

    4) And as for Brent…Brad..whatever his name is..that used to play QB for the Packers, he would never have played well behind the Packers OL as he is for the Queens since the Queens OL are much better. In fact, with his age, he would most likely have been injured seriously while Rogers is able to take a licking and keep on ticking due to his young age and conditioning.

Overall, I don’t think it’s all on McCarthy. But they do need to look at some other personnel and roll some heads. As for Thompson not signing free agents, I agree with the philosophy. I believe the proper way to build a team is through a draft with the occasional free agent such as Brandon Chillar. Last year it was the Packers defense that had their issues, so Raji and Matthews were the first ones drafted and both are starting to look like the real deal. Next year, there is no doubt in my mind that an offensive lineman or two can be taken in the draft.

As for going the free agency route, if he does sign someone, it will be long after the top free agents sign with other teams and Thompson gets the left overs – decent players who will play for a bargain basement price like Brandon Chillar. There is no way the Packers will overpay like $7 million for an over the hill lineman that will decline in performance in a couple years. I know I wouldn’t.

So give them another year, especially for the defense to get the players to fit Capers’ scheme, and if they still don’t improve, then yeah, time to take action.

Geocaching.com is temporarily down for maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause.

    As of 2:07pm.

    sighs.

Just when I was gonna run a pq for this weekend’s caching in Oconto. Well, I can still do it. Just won’t have updated logs in my PDA.

Scary caches for 1300. How fun is that? Congratulations on hitting it in style!

If they did that on Friday the 13th, that would be more scary.

Way to go, Curly Girls. Loved your logs when you were in town to do the M.I. series last month.

    Way to go, T & E.

Someday I’ll be in your neck of the woods and grab a few of your caches.

Maybe I’ll run into you on the trails.

Whoo, FTP! Oh, never mind – wrong thread 😛

Just about all my caching photos are on my facebook profile, which is private and seen by friends only.

Eventually, I’ll put them on Picasa too so that I can tie them in with my blog. That will be public.

I have a photobucket account too, but I use that for hotlinking photos such as an ebay listing or a forum post.

With the exception of cemetery or other marker puzzles that can be solved easily in the field in minutes, I’m not a fan of puzzle caches. I avoid them like the plague for the most part and usually filter them out when I export my caches to my GPS. Basically only traditionals and select multis are on my GPS when I go caching. In other words, just load and go.

Do I think that’s my own loss? No. Just because there is a puzzle cache out there does not mean I have to find it. I’m not the only one that feels this way too.

Thanks for sharing this Anne. Too fun!

Didn’t the Grateful Dead once have a music video with skeletons performing a song? That;s what that photo reminded me of?

As for my Rolling Stones reference, I mentioned them because they are way old, but still perform today far as I know.

Re-reading through this and going caching with Sweetlife the other day and using his GPS, I knew I needed to get an actual GPS instead of using my PDA to cache with, so I ordered a Venture HC as well. I should get it before the end of this week.

Looking forward to giving it a shot.

Thanks, everyone. I especially want to thank Barry of Sweetlife for being our tour guide. He knew right where to park for that cache and his truck made it easy. He also took me and Bartrod to a couple other caches before Rod had to go home to hand out candy for the trick or treaters.

Barry & I found several other caches together and I had 20 overall for today.

Again thanks to everyone for the congrats and to Barry of Sweetlife for being our tour guide. Much appreciated.
