Did Jerry find caches with swag?

I have a feeling that virtuals will go the way of locationless caches. Eventually, GS will discontinue them all together as they did with the locationless caches.

I’m not a virtual kind of cacher anyways. That’s why I only have 2 virtuals and one earthcache to my credit. If there’s one in the area that I’m hunting in, then I’ll get it to get the smiley, but I’m not going out of my way for a virtual or earthcache.

I prefer searching for the physical container, but that’s just me.

Same reason that one gets a quick and cheap FTP on this thread. 😛

Might wanna doublecheck that cache to make sure it’s still there. Bartrod and I worked together for a half hour on that one and didn’t find it.

    Now for my choice restaurant:

Mickey Lu’s BBQ right on Highway 41 in Marinette. Can’t miss it when driving northbound. Southbound drivers can spot it on the way out of town.

I’ll post address later as I have to get to work.

Best burgers and malts in town and maybe in northeast WI.

It’s not far. It’s only about a 1656 mile hike. If you don’t stop to sleep or eat, that’s only a 17 day hike 😛

Congrats, BQ. I know I won’t hit that milestone in my lifetime.

    Way to go.

I don’t have a handheld GPS. I use a windows mobile pocket pc and bluetooth GPSr and Smache software for caching.

I simply just delete my database and create a new one using GSAK anytime I go out caching. I always filter out my found caches on GSAK before exporting to my pocket pc. No biggie.

And I’ll probably do the same if I had an actual GPS. Not a big deal to do that.

Found one. Econo Lodge near airport for about 52 bucks a night plus tax and not far at all from the amphitheater.

And plenty of caches in the area to boot 😉

Nice job, Rick. Keep on climbing your way to the milestones.

Ha ha. I think that was funny. Funnier if you replace the letter W in Witch with a B 😀

in reply to: Lil’ Presque Isle –Marquette Michigan area #1894982

Thanks B2. I think I will do this one for my milestone. Awesome pics. I’ll be sure to take some of my own when I get there.

Thanks, B2. Doesn’t look like I’ll hit the Isle after all as my muggle friend is unable to go with me and I’m not about to go in the water alone.

So I’ll look at those and see which one is worthy of my 200th find.
