Slow day in TS, I see.
Here you go, Bartrod. I did the best I could given the size. 🙂

Private messages is a feature that I sorely miss. It is also somewhat difficult to implement. It is definitely on the TO DO list.
For now, the only other alternative is to contact a member via their geocaching.com profile if their account name there is the same as here or if you know what their handle is on geocaching.com if different than here such as Noonan’s.
Just one minor issue. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3 using the Firefox browser.
Trekkin and Birdin’s avatar is a bit long when on the mobile site as shown in the screen shot below.

Not that big of a deal, but I thought I’d point it out.
I’ve only found 2 caches in the entire series.
I don’t get out much 😉
Nope. I see my name too.
Can the calendar start the week on Sunday instead of Monday?
We had seven finds this November, the smallest number in a month for us since December of 2008. Too much to do at the start of the month, then the cold hit, and then the snow. Hunters in the woods and Thanksgiving plans and prep always cut down on our finds late in the month.
I have zero finds for November and 36 total for the YEAR of 2014. First, it was not having a reliable car for most of 2014 until early summer. Then it was not having the time to get out to find caches.
I’ve been in Green Bay a few times running errands but did not bother to find a cache when I was there because generally from my experience in Green Bay, a typical cache is a nano in a stop sign so I avoid Green Bay for the most part even though it is the closest urban area that has plenty of unfound caches for me.
So far the most fun part of the new website is seeing how many people miss FTP’s or get one unexpectedly.
I don’t think we care about FTP’s anymore. I certainly don’t as I’ve gotten post #15 quite a few times in this thread and chose not to do a double post.
I forgot what macro I use for my Nuvi, but I use the Garmin POI loader to load the GPS after running the macro.
However, once I get back on the caching trails, I’ll be using C:GEO on my phone to drive to caches. I’ll have C:GEO linked to my driving app and it will take me there, no problem.
I still will use my Garmin Venture HC to cache when I get there.
One way of looking for archived caches is to look at a caching history of a long time local cacher. Look back on his earlier finds and you might find what you are looking for.
People have to be insane to shop on Black Friday.
Ooh
Before I forget, my brother is going to be in the parade tomorrow with the Madison Scouts. Just in front of Santa from what my dad said.
Time to start brining the turkey!Did you see your bro?
I saw the Madison Scouts come through.
Website is moving along nicely. Mobile version looks awesome!
Now if there is a way where I can pick up from where I left off last time I logged in, I’ll be happy. I had to sift through several pages of thread stealers before I found where I left off last time I logged in.
Oh yeah and I concur – a preview button before submission of a post would be nice too.

Sorry…but I liked the old site better. We’re just used to the old site. After some time on the new one and the chance to work out all the glitches, we will be able to notice all sorts of new things to explore on the new site.
I never was a fan of WordPress. All the forums that I’m a regular at all use the phpBB software and it is so easy to navigate. Finding each section of the board was a snap.
Here, I have a difficult time locating the section that I want to visit. This is what it looks like to me.

It’s all mixed up to me with all the sections lumped together. I’m using the latest FireFox browser.
Not to mention that without the icon for the first unread post in a topic, I have no idea where I left off the last time I visited the forum, especially if I’ve been away for a few days and there is a flurry of activity in a thread. I have to sift through posts that I already read to find the first unread post.
Sorry, but I still say the old site was better.
