Hope Mr. LN makes it safely. I was in Belgium once…just Brussels, but what a beautiful city.
These days, a trip to Green Bay is about as exciting as it gets. Trekkin has suggested he might be willing to board a plane again. Someone asked me recently…where would you take him, knowing it might be your only trip?
I still can’t answer that.
Really light stuff falling here just now.
I am now 60% through my yoga assistant training practice. I learn new things with each practice session, that’s for sure.
Where SW? Trekkin’s going ice cave hunting, I’m at yoga most of the day. Bummer!
I agree, Becca. I just don’t really understand wanting those smileys without working the puzzle. Honestly, I think all these stat sites have created some of this kind of stuff. Before, no one really knew who had how much and more and less and all that.
Or not. I just spent like forever checking to see if we qualify for a King Boreas challenge not far from my parents. We do. But in the process, I discovered something neat about wikipedia.
Search for the name of any town or city. When you get to the page on wikipedia with that entry, click on the coordinates that are near the upper right hand corner of the entry. You will find many wondrous things. Scroll down that list of wondrous things. You will find one thing called “Geocaching.com” and can click on “nearby.” You get a list of…nearby geocaches!
Who knew?
:ftp:
No alcoholic beverages here, though I guess there’s one last belgian ale in the fridge. Hmmm….
It’s not published yet. Once it is, I’ll try again and if the problem persists, I can share that. Thanks!
Is anyone else having problems trying to use the link for the small WGA banner on cache listings? I was able to copy the link and it shows on our cache listing when I go to “edit,” but when I try to view the listing as everyone else would see it….nothing there.
Maybe it’s just us, but I thought I’d mention it. Maybe I crossed the streams.
I do, Pat. But I know you all too well!
My adventures will be taking me to the yoga studio tomorrow and Sunday. I’m doing a workshop there tomorrow, then assisting after that. Sunday I will kill myself at candlelight slow flow (although last Sunday didn’t seem quite as much a killer as the week before). I figure I can watch any Superbowl commercials I miss online. The game is meaningless to me at this point!
We had our adventures the previous three days, so I’m good there.
Our niece was in a summer repertory orchestra last year at Breckenridge and she did two or three 14ers while she was there. Course…she’s only 25!
Someday we hope to get back to Colorado Springs and hike the route up Pikes Peak. We almost took the drive up when we went a couple years ago and said….nope. Let’s do it on foot! We would have needed more time to acclimatize to the altitude. Even Trekkin’ was slowed down a bit when we were hiking in Pike National Forest just under 10,000 feet.
Holy crap, we go to the Twin Cities for a couple days of caching and family time and when I come back…cheezehead is posting here? Welcome Back!
We’ve been visiting my parents and finding caches in the Twin Cities the past couple days. We visited an amazing EarthCache in Savage (not far from the Ren Fest grounds). Don’t have the GC handy, but if you search for Boiling Springs EarthCache, you should find it. They got some freezing rain overnight, so we’re waiting for that to clear up a bit before caching our way home. Wasn’t in the forecast.
