That was the last of the Wisconsin virtuals for us to find. It’s too bad….so much of that site is tied to the location. I read a great book about Mary Nohl before we visited to get more insight into what I’d be seeing. She was truly an original and a creative mind.
I was sorry to see it’s going to go this way.
I see the lack of what used to be called common courtesy as a problem of the immediacy and anonymous nature of the online world. We don’t mind helping, but at least acknowledge our effort. I still teach the grands to always remember “thank you.”
This is not an issue limited to the online geocaching world, by the way. That was a nice one….nice photo, too. Wish I’d taken it!
Just did the classic BBG photo. Very nice, I have a love of photos like that, too.
Here’s one along our bike trail…LaCrosse River Bike Trail.
Shakey Lake Park = perfect UP scenery
I was a little afraid I wasn’t going to get my beer, but all was well in the end. Honest to Pete (pun intended!) who ever heard of a birthday party for a message board topic????? 🙄
Just did the one Jim posted from the Eternal Flame EC. Nice capture of the flame in its grotto.
I just did BBG’s fall leaves puzzle. Whew! Blotches of pretty colors everywhere!
The bottom of the barrel one….I must have missed that day in TS.
You can tell Mr. Sandlanders I’ve come in dead last on every single one I’ve done….AND I DON’T CARE! I do this for the fun, not the competition. There’s enough of that out in the world as it is.
It didn’t really help me to have seen the Forevertron. I’m blaming it on the fact I was there in the summer and the photo looks like fall. 🙄
I just did the one BBG just posted. That was a fun one, it was hard to tell for sure until I was nearly done just what I was seeing. Very pretty spot!
In the spirit of not just taking, but giving back….

This is an old Irish church along the River Road in Iowa. When there’s a burial in the churchyard, the graves are still dug the old way…by hand. It’s a community gathering with food prepared indoors to feed those working outside.
Wexford Church
I did Jim’s winter sunset. What a gorgeous scene. I also did the one Noonan posted….where’s the cache or a similar name? Where is that one located? It was a neat almost abstract nature study!
