Congratulations and thank you all for your willingness to serve the game in the Badger State.
Looks like any kind of election can be bought these days. We all know who the REAL fan is. The other Rick will have to live with his conscience about how he used his students for personal gain. Sad.
We got our votes in this morning before leaving the house. Wonder if the other Rick was planning a big pre-game/voting party to “snipe” the votes? Hoisted by his own petard, I say!
How soon before we hear the official word? So we can offer official congratulations?
What a great choice for a big milestone! Congratulations, Rod.
The Mayor is still up, but I took a few minutes to see this 4 o’clock phenomenon. Unreal!
I’m sure no matter the final outcome, Rick will be so relieved once kick off occurs this weekend! Go get ’em!
I don’t know what the school’s computer usage policies there might be, but that would get us fired from the jobs we just retired from.
Sadly, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to ethical behavior or lack thereof. Go get ’em, Mayor!
Statistically, 4 to 9 is the time period when kids get into the most trouble. Heavy petting, drinking, voter fraud…
Dick had composed this comment to leave on the other Rick’s vote page. While I completely agree with his sentiment, I advised him to let it go. He really wanted to add that “the comments that follow this speak for themselves,” because he knew it would spark a bunch of middle school nonsense, having spent almost all of those teaching years in one. He’s there subbing today, in fact!
I’m a retired professional educator who spent an entire career teaching among other values, the value of honesty to my students. As an educator I have to wonder, is encouraging young people to bend the rules and/or having the knowledge that your students are doing so the legacy you want to leave? When children are encouraged to, or knowingly allowed to ignore the stated rules for any activity by a parent, or an adult who is chosen by the community to be responsible for teaching them accepted societal values, the likely hood of them responding in similar fashion is highly likely. I wonder how many of them are processing this adult behavior and thinking it’s okay to bend the rules on test taking or who knows what else. This sir, appears to be a prime example of immediate self gratification clouding your judgement, while providing a genuine disservice to the community, the students, and the school district you have been hired to represent. I would hope my comments will cause you to pause and have some sort of reflection and/or moral thoughts on what your behavior as a community leader is teaching the youth under your charge. I fully expect responses to this comment will clearly speak for themselves, one way or another.
Aw ‘c’mon, you could return! Congratulations!
Congratulations on a new big number!
Congratulations on a great milestone choice, Marie. Glad to have shared a few of those 7000 with you!

Great, so what are these kids learning about life?
Trekkin’ used to have a shirt from the movement. Maybe Mr. TE had one, too. It may not be designated by political boundaries, but anyone who spends time up there knows…it’s a whole different state!
Both of us have been voting diligently every day..
