Three accomplishments in one run? Isn’t that kind of like a hat trick in hockey? Congratulations Anne on all those milestones, especially the long bike ride.
Congratulations to one of the nicest cachers in the state! Man, we remember when you were going for number 200!
Our reviewers do a great job. We’ve been on the road for almost three weeks and have had a great time, but several times, we’ve looked at each other and said “how did THIS get approved?”
Thanks Bec and Dave!
Congratulations on beating the odds! Sounds like a fun day with great friends to mark that milestone.
Congratulations Marie, way to make it special!
Congratulations on finally finding yourself and making it a milestone, too! Way impressive!
Sounds like a really fun way to get to the milestone. Congratulations Barry and Val on another.
I haven’t done any or created any, but who knows? Maybe we’ll see one that trips our trigger. The benchmarks don’t “count,” but we still like to find and log those. Like all things in life, some will think they’re great, some will think they’re stupid and some will just shrug their shoulders and move on to whatever they enjoy. There’s a lot more to worry about in life than these things, at least for me.

Thanks, I guess we actually hit it while Trekkin’ was at a caching event in Iowa last weekend, but with just one computer right now, he hasn’t logged many of his finds.
Becca, it worked out to have our plans biffed a couple times, as the weather was GORGEOUS almost the whole time. We did an awesome day paddle in the BWCA, where we got to see some amazingly detailed Ojibwa (it’s assumed) pictographs and then found a cache. We hiked several of the state parks, many of which we’d visited before, camped in one of them and had the campground all to ourselves. Next stop…..California!
We’d have loved to do this, but we’re signed up for a CITO in…Yosemite Park! If for some reason our trip doesn’t happen (this has happened to us a lot the last couple years), you know this is where we’ll be.
Funny thing is, we were caching in Devil’s Lake last week and made the comment that a CITO here would be a great idea. Thanks for taking this on. It’s such a beautiful area, for those who haven’t been there yet, there are a lot of caches there and this would be the perfect excuse to finally visit the park.
Congratulations on yet another. And happy anniversary, too.
Tom, Are those friends of yours “screamers?” I made one once, but time took its toll and the poor creature died a screamer-like death. They are fun projects, nice and messy, too.
Ours is a Pileated Woodpecker, because when pressed, I’d say that’s my favorite bird. He’s carrying a canvas bedroll/pack, which is what Trekkin’ carries to get to his historical treks. I drew this thing myself and it is also our letterboxing stamp (courtesy of Timberline Echoes!)
Sakatah Bike Trail from Faribault to Mankato MN. We easily got 101 without even trying riding that trail on the 4th of July. Had found about 70+ the day before. There is another stretch down to Mankato since we were there. All fun hides, too.
