Trekkin’ will probably get on my case for doing this…he says I’m “too nice, always helping everyone and no one ever helps us, HA!” but putting this bookmark list together took time and it’s helpful for planning those road trips.
All the active 2000 caches in the U.S.

We don’t need too many more. Three are within striking distance when time allows and the weather clears.
There are Jasmer challenges in other states, I think the first one is in California somewhere. We’re close, but not quite there yet.
Way to go, Karl, glad to have shared a few of those adventures with you. And still waiting to take you out to dinner! 😉

Were those GeoCrush things an event of some type? Those are kind of cool. Look at poor Idaho, though!
Karen, I think Hillary E did the Newfoundland one I like, too. I also like the graphic look for the Nevada one.
Thanks, we won’t be zooming to another milestone at that rate again, but we’ve enjoyed the places getting there has taken us. As well as the friends made along the way!
Congratulations on a fun milestone!
Congratulations to all of you, and thanks to all who were willing to put themselves out there. There are so many people with all kinds of skills in this group, it’s a great “problem” to have.
We started digging at Tidyman, but decided we’d already done enough of that kind of thing for one day. Not sure, but I think our personal worst might have been 6 DNFs. Part of the game. We shared some of the same ones with you this weekend, too!
Indeed, this was a great venue, well done. We especially enjoyed the addition of the slide show of Lonelies from the top finishers. Great idea! Thanks for all the work, we know organizing these events is a commitment of time and energy.
Congratulations Rod! Wooden shoes, eh? 😉
Pretty cool to stick to your standards for non-electronic (at least in the field) finding! Congratulations!
02/09/2011 at 8:25 pm in reply to: Digital Dan’s Event-Full Walk on Water to 1600 Multies/5000 #1942879Wow, three milestones in one weekend. Which one is most impressive? 5000 finds? 1600 multis? Or two years of wedded bliss with Da Fu?
If there was ever a loaded question, this is it!!! Seriously, big congrats on all three, Dan!
We’re helping out the owner, who is lucky enough to be somewhere without snow for awhile. That cache was one of our very first finds, and there were just two DNFs recently from finders who don’t have tons of experience yet. Not sure why someone felt the need to do that, but we’re happy to help out cache owners when we can if they want the help….which he does. It’s one of those kinds of places that is a wonderful place to visit, but there is a fair amount of activity in warmer months and leads to things disappearing from time to time. The very first LaCrosse Storytelling Festival was held here, we used to be part of a fur trade re-enactment there, and the location holds some great memories for us, so it’s an honor to help keep this 5+ year old cache going.
Don’t blame her…been there, done that. Two weeks late on August 20! Good luck to her!
