I think he may be working on that. Just saying. Is all. Heck, we’ve even gotten a few points the last couple months, purely coincidental. Can’t begin to compete with the big players on this one!
Thanks. I did come across a nice extended document from TU and a program they’re involved in around here. Interesting information and gives me some direction.
There are many caching stats programs out there. MyGeocachingProfile is one I know of in addition to GSAK. Your upload the PQ and it returns an insane number of stats. You can scroll through the “export” part and find the code you want for your profile, copy it and paste it into your updated profile on gc. I’m amazed I know how to do this, but I can learn a tiny bit of tech stuff. Very tiny.
I still thought Its Not About the Numbers was THE best, and wish someone could pick that up and get it running again. Maybe that’s what you had before, and now with the site going down, your info is gone?
What a great choice for a major milestone! We’ve had our eye on those lighthouse ones but not the wherewithall thus far.
Congratulations!
I know Trekkin’ heard shots at fairly close range as he was heading into his spot well before sunup one year. There turned out to be a huge buck in the area, he probably stirred it up and boom, boom. He has not been out the past few years, as hunting public land is just getting too scary. He hunts with muzzleloader, btw.
Nice article. They got the facts right and some great coverage for some great cachers! Thanks for sharing this.
I know I’ve done exactly what cheeto suggests…written down the number, then forgot to log it until I discovered the numbers on a piece of paper somewhere.
Dies congratulations to you. You da (math)man!
Congratulations to you, Rick! Hope you enjoyed our favorite “home” state park. Beautiful day for it, for sure.
That is such a cool cache. What a great milestone choice, congratulations to you, Shane!
That’s so cool. We just picked up a travel bug this weekend that has been traveling since 2004. These stories are great to hear.
I use Chrome and it’s been fine. Hope you get it resolved soon.
We have also found these postcards in a cache near the Madison area. Probably the different area councils take care of their region.
Congrats, guys!
Well Ralph, that could happen again. Looks like they are having the event again….it was posted two days ago and takes place on the 17th. I know many experienced cachers tried to work with them in the past to improve that event, but like others….they had their own idea. Last year, many of the hides were in glass jars. O–kay.
I know they want to promote it as a fun activity, but it would be nice if the folks setting it up had some decent field experience, which doesn’t really seem to be the case. They understand the technology and the general concept, but haven’t done enough actual caching themselves to have a really good sense of how it can all work. They mean well, but….
Hudson Wisconsin has also worked with the chamber to sponsor an event in connection with the hot air balloon event in February. Currently Rusk County is sponsoring an event, too.
