The ones we couldn’t find.
Yikes, 1300 in one year? Took us closer to two to get there. Way to go!
Congratulations. Sounds like you’re visiting some beautiful country to mark these milestones!
Would have loved to have seen those…from a safe distance. We’ve been less likely to hike in the brush (although we have lapses in judgement, as some at the event yesterday noted), mostly cause it’s just tough with the brush, thorns and bugs, but also because many of those thorns are full of yummy berries….which means….bears could be nearby.
I do my best to eat as many as possible to keep the bears away from caches, though. 🙄

It is truly a great motivator to seek out some amazing spots in the state. We keep looking for the few and new ones that appear since we found the cache, too.
Congratulations on the double K!
Congratulatons….1K is just around the corner for you now.
Welcome to the fun! Geocaching appeared on the scene after our boys were too old to hang with us (though they’ve indulged us a few times), but my younger son and his friends would take off in a carload with an eTrex and have a blast with it. Great fun with family, enjoy it!
Glad you could laugh. We have learned to have spare batteries in our pockets along with our pen. I also learned to carry a spare memory card for my camera….sometimes a person can forget to pull that thing out of the computer slot after uploading pictures! Just sayin’. Is all.
😉
Yeah, you really should change that one to a “found,” you know. I mean…..it can’t be any worse than some nano on a park bench, can it? 🙄
Another issue I’m sure is that it’s getting tougher and tougher to find:
a) a big enough cache to leave TBs, and
b) one you feel is somewhat safe from inquiring fingers.
We try to move those we find pretty quickly, and most of the time we do, but when you have a day with nothing buy micros, which can happen a lot, it’s tought to trade or even just drop them. I’ve also become more likely to grab stuff even if I don’t have trade bugs, simply because I know we’ll move them quickly. For ours, we care less that they move quickly than that they move at all. I know some, especially kids and classes doing projects, like to see them move pretty fast. I just dropped one yesterday with a fun photo of a bunch of 2nd grade boys, who will be third graders in a couple months. Not sure how far or fast they traveled, but school’s out for summer.
And glasses…..let’s not forget glasses!
Ralph, Is that one of the ones with you and Jesse on it? I think we found and moved one of those. In fact, we may have moved it to one of your caches!
Wear long pants. Our hands were featured on that cache in a local newsmagazine article about a year ago. It’s definitely a great one.
