Brian, It’s a very worthy cache, milestone or not. Heck, find this and nine others and dinner’s on us! 🙄

Congratulations on another milestone, and finding retirement to be all you’d wished for, too.

What a great cache for this milestone, Dave. Now don’t leave us hanging for your next big one! 🙄

Congratulations……that’s one of the solved puzzles we need to return and find ourselves! Great one for a milestone.

Congratulations, Barry and Val…..on both the milestone and the SCC Challenge completion. We hope to get up there eventually to do a lot of those.

Great, We have a double canoe. Glad to see some can manage the holiday weekend….with the CO willing to let us retrieve this, I didn’t want to make him wait too terribly long.

I’ll gather more information on the time needed, put in and all that from Cachew’s log and we can work out the details. Looking forward to this a lot!

There is also one not far from here, Devil’s Tea Table, that I missed a couple years ago. An awesome spot to visit even with a DNF. Looks like there are a a couple in Cadiz Springs and the random cache here and there. Glad this will work out, let’s hope the weather does, too.

We have one on the Rustic Road going right by our house, but it’s pretty “trashy,” so I wouldn’t want to feature it.

However……..I have been planning out stages for a WhereIGo that would pretty much follow this road and feature the reasons for its designation. Only problem? I am so impossibly tech impaired, figuring out the WIG builder is tougher for me than trying to read Urdu script. If I can ever get it together, I’d certainly be glad to add this designation, though.

What about the Monday of Memorial Day weekend? If we get an early enough start, the traffic home should be avoided. I wouldn’t think traffic on these back roads would be too bad, anyway.

Like Ralph, for as far from your home base as we’re located, I see we’ve found 31 of yours, and many were fun and memorable ones for us. I think anytime those kind of series are placed, the risk of someone being left out is there. No doubt completely unintended, but it can happen. Please consider keeping your caches alive, because as others have said, we know you take great care of them and that means a lot when out of towners visit. We know if it says “The Tapps,” it’s probably there and if we can’t find it…..it’s our own fault! In other words…..they don’t get screened out of our PQs. Plus, as long as you’ve been in the game, many are true classics in the state. We’d hate to see more of those fall off the map.

Shane, It’s amazing how bad my vision has become. I look at our “nearest” and the first cache and last cache on that list….I just can’t see them! 🙄

Middle of the Pacific? That would mean a move to Hawaii. Yeah, I could see that!

They aren’t on ours anymore, either, Pete! LOL

There is no rule that says one must get them all. We did it….twice…..and now we just wanna have fun. Trekkin’ says getting on and off the I system would not be “fun.”

Just to annoy Ralph right back!

You might be correct about the FTF thing, but slowing down and never to be found caches? Those are so 2008, we’ve moved on!!!

We have not matched our find rate from last year in any month yet this year. We’ve always kept it below…heck, we don’t even go caching some weekend days anymore! At minimum 20 less finds than the same month in 2009, and for one month, 100 less finds.

Now…..let’s see how quickly Trekkin’ decides we need to get that new car. I have the car tomorrow. There are about three new caches on his way to work, but he has to ride with someone else, because we have just one car! I predict that I could go out and buy a vintage revved up Corvette and he’d be okay with that, LOL.

Oh, I’ve no doubt about this. I mean, if it weren’t a coincidence, how would you know how far from our house it’s located, LOL????

Probably the same two we’d need, LOL.

But in spite of Ralph’s pathetic attempt to annoy Trekkin’ by placing these close to us…..we’re past all that now! Nah nah nah naah boo boo! 🙄

It’s amazing what a return to yoga practice can do for a person…….OM!
