Congratulations, what a memorable choice for a milestone in so many ways. Gotta love Emma’s headgear, too!
Congrats on a big round number!
Trekkin’ got real dinner, Mike. No, no one here is the offending (or is that “offensive?) party.
Trekkin’ wants all this information on the profile page and I’m just too lazy to do all that. My time is better served posting in the forums or similar activity choices! LOL
It’s a constant stream of them with us. Wood and deer. Trekkin’ is not happy. He has been an unwilling host to lyme ticks three times, and does not welcome them a fourth. There seems to be something in his chemistry that draws them.
We enjoy looking at stats others post, too. It’s just fun, and really, everyone of us has our own unique style of caching, so one can’t compare anyway. In some ways, the stats posted are a window into their style, too. Some post D/T charts, others the cache a day calendar, some the FTF list. That’s a little glimpse for the rest of the community to see.
We’re not changing anything, other than our current goal to spend a little less time caching and spending more time on other things we enjoy…..I just got sick of trying to fit stuff in on the profile page. And we’re fully aware that the comments of one individual are just that. Thanks for the feedback.
I wanted to pull the map some time back, because that was one of our listed milestones, but Trekkin’ wants it to stay.
Yes, he got dinner. And the back end of the lamb cake, as always (more frosting there) 😉
Adding our wishes, thanks Rob!

But what about that butter lamb? 😉 Congratulations on getting to this milestone, Jeremy!
Congratulations on a biggie, Bob, even if it required hopping! 🙄
Alex, Thanks for being forthright about that little moment of judgement with your buddy Deep Throwit (loved that name!). We all have our things that can send us over the edge, and as Ralph already stated far better than I could, what you’ve done to advance the game far outweighs anything.
Trekkin’ and I have learned that there are many personalities in the game, and most of us have our own weird little quirks. We accept everyone with their quirks and don’t discriminate based on any of them. We enjoy caching with all you quirky folks! [;)] We do have our personal philospophy of play, which includes (Birdin’) solving the puzzles we find. Trekkin’ is glad she enjoys them, as he usually can’t be bothered to tax his brain on these. I enjoy that moment of “aha” so I appreciate the puzzle placers everywhere to provide me with many hours of time learning facts and trivia about subjects as varied as waste disposal, classical music, our nation’s presidents, Dr. Who or who those people on the murals might be. I enjoy cemetery challenges and we continue to complete the ALRs for those, as they have opened our eyes to a whole new area of funerary knowledge.
These are Birdin’s opinions, shared and discussed at length with Trekkin’, and do not reflect the WGA Board. Just need to make that clear!
I’m with Braidbeard. We love music, but when we’re outdoors, we want to hear nature. I’m especially attuned to birdsong, always hoping to get a better look at certain birds, or even….adding a new one to my life list.
As a matter of fact, my iPod is loaded with nothing but the Stokes tapes to bird calls of Eastern North America. I’ll have it along if we’re out and I want to review something I hear for identification purposes. I’m a pretty good birder by ear, but it’s always good to practice!
Look in the sidebar here called “It’s Not About the Numbers.” You can run a PQ of your finds, load it there and get all kinds of amazing information about your caching, including a Wisconsin county map that highlights which counties you have done.
Please accept our condolences to both families on your loss. TyeDyeSky, especially allow us to thank your nephew for his service to our country.
Congrats to all of you on the milestones. We were caching up in your neck of the woods on Sunday….had to stay home for our own family event on Saturday, but it sounds like you put on a great bash!
Leave it to these guys to have a unique way to mark milestones. 8-8-8 will be next! Congratulations, Pat and Mark.
