We watch a fair number of caches, some we’ve found that, like Pete says, were SSSSo hard to solve, some that have some significance to us (like those on our How Hungry challenge, yesterday was a great email day there), and some that just look interesting to me in the form of “some day maybe we can go there” kind of thing. It has happened that some of those “maybes” do became finds later on for us, like the kayak earthcache in Hawaii or a cave letterbox hybrid in Michigan.
Congratulations, I’m sorry we didn’t get to connect yesterday, but those gals sure threw a great party and lots of people were there to meet!
I didn’t know ducks liked pickles! Congratulations Jacob. Sounds like a great Christmas present!
Very fun, good for shrek and fiona taking the initiative to submit this. It’s really a fun cache and I don’t know why more people don’t attempt these kind. Thanks for pointing it out!
Way to go, Brian! Certainly our favorite cache, and the photos from logs that I’ve seen so far look like it was picture perfect for a milestone.
Add another to the “doesn’t need to involve alcohol to celebrate” group, which I’m glad to see is apparently the majority of respondents here.
We do have younger members on this site and they do watch what we do. Trust me on this. 🙁
My guess is a long night of Mexican Train with our sons and their girlfriends and nothing stronger than Mountain Dew.
Here you go, Ryan…

Welcome, and hopefully you can stop in at the event tomorrow and we can meet in real life. If not then…..sometime down the trail!
I do understand how someone could get sick of it, though. We have two of the three we own that we have to monitor constantly. People won’t even send the answer, just log them. It’s a pain.
I guess we did find one of the four that were archived….
Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas one and all!
I haven’t spent enough time with those arrows to begin to ask for teeny tiny hints. I don’t like to ask for teeny tiny hints until I hit a wall after too much time spent trying things and hitting a wall.
Which following arrows like that…..well, it could happen! They both look kind of like track logs at ground zero, LOL.
How weird is that? I just tried on my laptop, and neither one will bring up anything except the “inactive” thingie.
How cool is that?! When we found those tracks and did the work needed to confirm them, the stuff I read said actual sightings of them are really pretty rare, and amazingly little is known about their habits as a result.
This was 20 years ago. With modern technology, I’m sure there is more information available now.
Thanks to those with the foresight to right click on those images, I now have what I need.
I hope it can be fixed on the cache listing, as it’s been a fun one to work through, and it sounds like the cache itself is just fine. Maybe someone local can take it over for the absent owner?
Well, as of this morning, clicking those links is no longer helpful. If anyone has the part with the final piece of the puzzle….a bunch of letters that look random….I’d be beholden to you.
We don’t have a working printer or this would not be a problem. I can’t seem to find it on my hard drive, so must not have saved. Sad me!
