In the famous words of Emily Letila…..”never mind.”
I discovered that the text is still available if you just click the “account inactive” links. If anyone else wanted to try this one…..
Yes, I also saw the exciting news on FB, but congratulations to the both of you!
And they say geocachers waste time on silly stuff! 🙄
Really, this is seriously fun. You gotta give it to someone who could think up something like this!
This must have occured after Lil’ Otter put all of hers up for adoption, cause we adopted three of her virts. One of which has had to have logs deleted regularly for the reason stated in the OP. For some reason, another seems to have a lot of logs from folks who just don’t seem to know how a virtual works and we have to contact them about the required response. Tourist area, we’re guessing many new cachers hit it.
Way to go, Dan. We enjoy multis as well, but 1300? Amazing!
P.S. We have two new fun cemetery multis over here now for your next trip cross the state.
We have the old school wood and sinew ones, which we used when we did Eagle Source and a few others. Although they are heavier and a person can tire from the unaccustomed stride, they can’t be beat for really deep snow.
Last year we got some of the sporting goods store aluminum frame ones described. They have been great for trail running and we have probably already gotten our investment back.
SGH, what time of year did you do Gumdrop Island? That’s one we hope to do on hard water.
Oh heck, I don’t think we even got there until noon and we were out by dark. You guys will have a blast with this.
Hey, big congrats to you, Will!
Thanks…Unfortunately, for those on dial up or mobile phones, or without the updated flashplayer, it was causing problems. So we have to stick with the single photo.
If folks want to enjoy more photos, they can always go look at the photo album page. Even add their own photos.
Congratulations, way to nail it after the big snow, too!

Oh sure…now you throw this out… it better be more than mcd’s :>Well, so far the one team that’s completed it, Snyder Bear, got the Trempealeau Hotel on us last June. Not too shabby.
It would NOT be mickeyd’s or any of their imitators unless that’s really what the team wanted. Ugh! This is supposed to be my way to eat somewhere *other* than the Kwik Trip deli!

I think they are along highway 52 north of Rochester, if you look that way. I’d use the “caches along a route” option. Just click on that on the PQ page and i think it walks you through it.
Yeah, I recognize the top one. Man, did we wish we’d brought Trekkin’s ice auger for that one!
Timberline Echoes might remember the name of the road, it might even be in their log. We parked at the same spot, at a trail gate. That thicket is unavoidable, but we zigzagged our way through it until we came out into the swamp.
To this day, Trekkin’ will say this was his favorite cache. Even though he cusssed ans swore at his snowshoe issues (using his 1750s bindings).
