Lots of milestones in the Fox Valley this weekend. Congratulations on yours!
Congratulations, and keep having fun…the numbers will follow naturally that way!
Congratulations. So next week, 1K?? 😉
Congratulations…countdown to a grand is nearing for you!
Aha! I’ll give that a try. I know we’ve done plenty of caches where the velcro seems to stay in place. Now I know the secret!
Thanks.
Check out the required caches for our How Hungry Are You? challenge. For the most part, they fit the bill as you described it.

Since placing that one, we have a mess more we could add. We like to seek out the remote or challenging ones, so we know just what you mean about caches like that.
We had a blast at ICU off the I, too.
That’s what I had. I’m hoping someone can share the brand name or “style” of whatever has the best adhesive.
Or do you all add some kind of adhesive when attaching it?
If you go to “photo albums” in the sidebar, one is titled “Wisconsin photos.”
Any member may add photos of interest to that album. When Jeremy gets the chance to do the site redesign and we figure out who’s responsible for the front page photos, that would be a great album for everyone to update, so we can add variety. So everyone, post your photos!
Trekkin’ found that one by slipping on the ice and falling on his backside. It placed him right where he needed to be to make the find, LOL.
Had to laugh at Dave’s comments, as Trekkin’ had a FTF on one that was about a half mile off. Where the coordinates took him made no sense, but knowing the town and thinking about the clue, he took a little jaunt down the road and found it. The cache owner had reversed a couple numbers in listing it, which sometimes happens. I know others who’ve had similar experiences.
Trekkin’ has “semi-retired” from the FTF madness, so these things are less likely to happen now, others can run around and get things straightened out. He claims he’s thinking more like the old bull who tells the young one to wait….then we can do ’em all! 😉
He’s accepted he’ll never catch zuma, anyway! 🙄

I’ve done some challenge courses, too. Wonder if there are any of those out on public lands where permission could be gained to do a multi? No one said caching has to be safe.
Thank you, Bill. I don’t know if it’s the weather or what, but things in general seem to be a bit contentious around here lately. As I commented in another post, while we might whine and moan to each other or friends in person about this cache or that cache, I don’t like to gripe in my logs. If I didn’t find it….I didn’t find it. Period. No one’s fault but my own in the end. If I found it and thought it sucked for some reason, well, I still found it. I’m glad there are others putting them out and thank each and every one of those people for putting forth those efforts.
Trekkin’ and Birdin’
62 hides and several more in the works, including some nasty series of Trekkin’s!While we’d all love to have a true ground “zero,” it almost never happens. We will expand out even more than your poll, as far as 80-100 feet at times. If it’s within 30 feet, we figure that’s good, within margin of errors and variation between units.
I agree with the rest….make the comments in the context of the log and then let it go. Hate to admit when one of the Calvetti boys is right, but….LOL.
Even if a cache really sucks, I don’t like to whine about it, because….that person did try to put something out, and when I see others post those kinds of things, it appears arrogant. The one thing I might add is you could email the placer with a link to the WGA, inviting them to check it out as a great place to learn more and maybe connect with area cachers.
Congratulations to you, Nate! Closing in on half a grand now.
