Just adding a link to a story in today’s LaCrosse Tribune about Pete’s in PDC, recommended in this forum by TheBalks.

Every time we’ve been in Prairie, we were part of the rendezvous and cooking over open fires. I think we should plan a road trip!

Our boys never really cared about that part of it. If you do get a canoe (or a kayak) see if you can “test paddle” ones you’re considering with the kids as you plan to travel.

I spent a whole afternoon trying out kayaks before I picked the one I have.

We did what Mike said, put the kids in the middle of the canoe….but that’s mostly cause Trekkin’ doesn’t like kayaks!

We own two canoes and one kayak. The beater canoe gets used regularly by our sons and/or their girlfriends, which was the idea all along.

The boulter list doesn’t have at least one cacher with HUGE EarthCache numbers. Last I looked, he had 496 EC finds. It’s pretty much all he does, apparently.

I’m thinking that if DaFu would ever catch up her logging, her numbers on this list would be higher, too, LOL.

Hey Bill, We’re in the same boat. This is going to be our first grandchild, too.

Let us know when the big event occurs! Way better than any caching milestone.
