Congratulations, always a great way to mark a milestone!
Gary,
I have read those same comments by geoaware. While I do like to see photos, just because I enjoy seeing them, and I do ask that people include them, unless I have reason to suspect it’s an armchair find…..like, it’s the only cache done in Wisconsin or anywhere near it and the person lives in Germany…..I’ll just email for confirmation and leave it at that. I have to agree that taking the photo isn’t really an educational task as required by geoware.
Dick wants to be more strict about the requirement, but I think that’s just his “naughty kid teacher” training kicking in there.
‘Tucked in’ is our least favorite. Dick actually talked to the cache owner about it, when he asked why I didn’t go along to hunt for his hides, and he stopped using that….except one time.
He called Dick and said, “I’ve got one for Gwyn. The clue is “not tucked in but cleverly concealed!”
At least he has a sense of humor about it! 😉
It’s frustrating, but it just gives us an opportunity to re-visit some of our BC interests, LOL. You know……you can hike in the woods with a pair of binoculars and don’t even have to look for a cache? It’s true!
Plus, I have this baby afghan that needs to be finished pronto!

Welcome to the game and the WGA. I look forward to meeting you at the picnic next month! Have fun.
Congratulations to the prez, a reviewer and a just plain cool lady! 😯
Yes, those cats can be tricky, but you’re well on your way! Congratulations!
He he, that’s going to be Trekkin’s problem, as my storytelling obligations that same weekend will keep me away from West Bend.
I was trying to figure out what big event might be causing this. I can’t even get the page to load partially now. Ugh!
Never mind, I can see from the recent logs that the logging rate right now is listed as ‘extreme.’
Bummer. I can’t even get ON the stupid site, have tried off an on since 8AM.
Oh well. Time to knit.
What a great cache for a big milestone.
Sloughfoot ain’t afraid of no multis! LOL Congratulations!
Hey Mike, amazing what a person can accomplish now that you aren’t covering for s|s! [;)]
Seriously, a big congratulations to an all around nice guy!

Now off to try and get this cache!
This looks just awesome. Is the water high enough for a canoe? Otherwise, I have a non-caching kayaking friend who’d be game to do it!
08/04/2009 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Be on the lookout for cache #5000 for Trekkin’ & Birdin’ #1911808Hopefully tomorrow sometime. Our goal is dependent on wind and weather (plus the vagaries of other scheduled events in our life) and tomorrow looked better than yesterday.
Not a given by any means, though. Seven stages to the prize, if we’re lucky!
